Hello everyone don't know if anyone suffers pvcs quite frequently, because I'm finding it hard to cope with, I've had myocarditis in the past and it all started after that just wondering if anyone is going through a similar situation.

Hi Chris288,
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I've a slightly different experience of PVC's.
I have heart failure with arrhythmia due to Dilated Cardiomyopathy. I was fitted with an ICD 18 months ago.
Back in October last year I was listed for an Ablation. While waiting I was admitted to hospital with symptoms of heart failure (Short of breath, palpitations, etc).
During my stay I experienced PVC's for the first time. They are not very nice and I experienced them as a fluttering and chest pains. I remember the count on the monitor being at 20-30 PVC's per minute. The duty Dr prescribed Amiodarone, which stopped the PVCs. The Ablation was brought forward to get me out of hospital and I was taken off the Amiodarone.
3 weeks later I experienced palpitations and received a shock from my ICD. This put me back in hospital where they started me back on Amiodarone. I'm currently waiting for a second Ablation.
I would speak to your Cardiologist and see if there is something they can do for you.
For the short term my Consultant has put me on Amiodarone which is keeping the palpitations away but it does come with potential side effects.
Hopefully there may be some other anti-arrhythmia med that may help you.
Hope you find a solution.
