The Routes of B12 Deficiency
One leads to
psychosis
- in fact all the major mental health illnesses have been linked, so you may as well just pick one, and the other route is the neurological damage stemming from spinal cord degeneration. This is what happens when you get past the initial symptoms.

Long Term Risk of Relapse
It has been 2 years since my PP and 1 year since being back to 100% well after the depression I had following the PP. I am still on the anti psychotic and anti depressant. I went to see my psychiatrist today to talk about coming of the medications. I am feeling very disappointed after he told me there

She had to be put in a coma for a few days; on coming round from the coma she had quite severe post-coma
psychosis
: very strange delusions, had lost 20 years of her life, extremely confused and did not believe she was in a hospital. There is a lot more to it - too much to go into, really.

We had our first baby on 4-Jan-2014, after that my wife started exhibiting some strange behavior disorder ( actually before pregnancy also she used to think a lot about any issue.. so I thought may be she is thinking too much ) . But later it got extended too much that she left home and started living

Olanzapine
Hi there I've seen a few posts on here that breastfeeding wasn't recommended while taking olanzapine. My doctors said it was fine. Any advice?

Book about PPP
Hello, all! I have passed the one year mark of getting PPP and havevgreat news. I just published my first book, and it is a memoir of my experience with PPP and BP. It was a great way to process what I went through and found it therapeutic in a way. It was challenging bringing up memories I have repressed

Positives to come out of PP
I suffered with PP in August 2013 and it was the scariest thing I've ever experienced. However, 13 months later I applied for and was offered the job of Peer Support Worker for a Recovery College in the NHS, two days a week. I'd never worked in Mental Health before but having experienced PP I became

Thyroiditis screening
Hi all, I don't have time to write a detailed post now, but my wife has been suffering with
psychosis
since the birth of our daughter September 2013. We declined admission to the local MBU (it's complicated I'll explain later), although her symptoms were severe enough to warrant it.

self-pity
How do you deal with self pity and frustration during the recovery process. I had my PP episode/hospitalization in April of this year. I have had 2 car accidents and my son just broke his leg because my husband fell with him on the stairs. I feel like bad things keep happening. I know it could always

So I have a diagnosis of bipolar with
psychosis
, and I have recently had my baby (4th October) although I'm now starting to notice that I think I'm heading downhill, I keep getting these delusions in my head and sometimes the voices are so loud and persistent I just don't know what to do with myself!
