Desperately looking for an amazing ADHD psychologist/therapist/coach. Ideally with decades of experience and a serious degree.
He is on Adderall and
Prozac
which do not really help. He does manage to read and he reads a lot. He sleeps days and stays awake at night – his day/night cycle is completely destroyed by medications.

Back after a long hiatus
I desperately want to try
Prozac
, but my damn Pharmaceutical Doctor (who I am in process of replacing) won't prescribe it. Has anyone had experience with
Prozac
? Pro's? Cons? Xanax? Pros? Cons? I was never one to abuse medications, but I am tired of working so hard just to get out of bed.

Skipped Beats
Xanax,
Prozac
, relaxation methods, doing various stuff with the vagus nerve, etc. Just to show you my situation, I am completely relaxed writing this post which tells everyone a lot about me.

Heart Palpitations since age 9.
Take Xanax and
Prozac
but lately the skipped beats have come every day. I cant tell my family and friends for 2 reasons. One is that they heard what the cardiologist diagnosis is and nobody asks me any longer.

Pramipexole withdrawal - update
I’m also reducing
Prozac
intake and Anti-inflammatories. I didn’t really want to hit all three at the same time, but circumstances have forced my hand. TTFN😌

Depression
I was on
prozac
for 25 years. For me it was calming and worked very well with my depression/anxiety. I stopped taking it 5 years ago when I found out it can make RLS worse.

Posting this information in case it is useful for anyone else
One of the things he recommended is the prescription of fluoxetine (
prozac
), which I have now started. The dose hasn’t yet been titrated up, but I’m tolerating it well so far. The research behind the recommendation, is Dr Paul Mischel from Stanford University and his team.

Pramipexole weaning - 4 weeks in.
I have been reducing
Prozac
as well. Take a few seconds of cold shower instead - the latest trend. Seems ok so far. Had the results of my blood screen. Nothing remarkable thank goodness. Feritin was 148 but doc didn’t want to raise that at this stage. All else within normal parameters.

Twitching knees
I explained my symptoms and he said my knee looked like it had Pattela tracking disorder, but he was more concerned about getting my anxiety under control,so he switched my meds to
Prozac
after 10 years on Zoloft. He took xrays and the report showed arthritis. I went a orthopedic dr.

Waking up gasping for air when first falling asleep? Help!
She prescribed me
Prozac
for what she called PTSD. (I thought only soldiers got PTSD) It DOES seem to be helping, but I have developed this weird thing when I try to sleep, whether it’s a nap or trying to sleep at night. Immediately upon falling asleep, I stop breathing! I wake up gasping for air.

I’m new here, and trying to get back to normal
I went off
Prozac
(with doctor supervision) in late April. I had anxiety all last week, and I decided to wean back on the
Prozac
with my doctor’s support. I’m currently starting at 20mg every other day for a week, and then will move to 20mg everyday for a week, and then be back at 40mg everyday.

stopping meds
I stopped taking
Prozac
about 4 months ago after taking it for 15 years. I still take Wellbutrin and I wanted to see if I could just do with one medication. I have felt terrible ever since. I feel like I'm constantly on the verge of a panic attack.

help! I have no idea what to do with my suicidal pain and my meds. I cant take it anymore
Talked to my doctor yesterday and asked about switching to
prozac
(only ssri I haven't taken). I was on lexapro for 13 years up until a year ago. I chose to go off before because I felt like I was just existing, no joy, no life, Always felt paralyzed or inertia. I was miserable.

Agitation from Prozac
Hello I have been taking fluoxetine for a few months now. For me it acts very fast as in within three hours my brain already feels different However it can make me very explosive and agitated physically where it is hard to even sit. Does anyone know how to deal with ?

Scared of how life has become. Hoping for better
My Psychiatrist who now handles my meds has given me
Prozac
and I’m starting that tomorrow. I’m scared. I’m worried. I don’t know how I’ll react or deal with it. This is all so new to me. I just have so much fear of my mind going crazy.

I have to make a decision between my mental health and my liver
I restarted the
Prozac
and then Xanax a year ago right after I had my baby. My whole pregnancy my liver enzymes stayed normal. When I restarted the
Prozac
and Xanax they have been slowly climbing back up. I get a yearly scan it’s been normal.
