Prostatectomy recovery
Hello - I had RARP procedure a month ago. I’m still experiencing pain, mostly where my prostate used to be but also referring pain in my penis. Blood persist in my urine. I wondered if others who’ve had the surgery experienced similar. Comments on recovery as well as any relevant feedback is welcome.

I found this promising alternative to robotic
prostatectomy
. I am very curious to hear anyone’s experience on HIFU. Also, I want to say thank you for this space. I feel so much gratitude for the support I have received in this group. Thank you.

Ductal Adenocarcinoma and PSA
I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March (PSA 5.2 )and had laparoscopic
prostatectomy
in April. Prior to surgery a full body bone scan and CAT scan of abdomen were done and were negative. Pathology showed 2 tumors.

Just diagnosed
My PSA is 1.67 so I'm looking at a
prostatectomy
due to low PSA which I guess means a resistance to treatment other than
prostatectomy
. Had a Bone Scan and CT Scan, nothing has spread. Urologist visit tomorrow to take the next steps.

Pridiction tools / Nomograms
There are two on MSK I think to apply to me, they are: Post - Radical
Prostatectomy
- When I plug in my #s it tells me the following: 15-year prostate cancer-specific survival would be ---- 64 % The BCR #s are not too favorable, but the overall survival rate isn't too bad, at my age of 67.

Recovering from robotic prostatectomy; pathology results
As part of my participation with the SIMCAP trial at CINJ, I had my robotic

Rising PSA, biopsy, possible surgery, sex etc. The journey continues...
I am wondering if anyone on here has had a similar experience of a rising PSA post-radical
prostatectomy
and if so, what did you do? Thanks again for all the support. In other news...lol.

Yet another surgery v. radiation study.
The objective of this project was to compare the impact of initial radical
prostatectomy
vs radiation therapy on survival outcomes in young men less than 60 years old with high grade prostate cancer.

Introduction
I had a
Prostatectomy
two months later in Jan. '18. Radiation (40 treatments ) and Lupron shots followed due to a few cells found in one seminal vesicle. As of now, I only have to take a shot every 6 months for two years.

Six -years post prostatectomy
Hello everyone, my name is Jeffery Thomas, I am 67. I had a Davinci surgery in 2012. So far I am cancer free. I continue to have mild incontinence when I laugh, or overeat. I begin having severe depression about six-months post-surgery. The depressive episodes have gotten better, however, the depression
