I joined this site February 2019. I was Dax’s with prostate cancer last July following a 2 PSA’s of 11 and 12. My Gleason score is 7 (3+4). I had a prostatectomy in November. The pathology of my prostate showed no cancer in the margins or lymph nodes. However, my first post-surgical PSA was 0.06 and my next was 0.09 a month later. Taking a 3rd March 1st.My treatment plan now is PBRT and PLNRT radiation and short term hormones.
I look forward to sharing info with you all during this journey.

Hi JavaMan, i’m In an identical position. Lots of guys are seeing clear pathology and then seeing post operative positive PSA. I am beginning to wonder if the operation/biopsy is clean. I’m in discussion with my consultant about next steps and it looks like short hormone trip and 33 doses of radiation which seems to be another 50/50 shot at a remediation. I think cure disappeared from the conversation after the post op PSA result which did not come back at <0.02 (which is the UK level for undetectable). Best of luck my friend
Thanks FreshB. Are you in the UK? I am in the US. I have a similar plan as well. Short term Lupron, 39 radiation doses. “Cure” is still part of the discussion but I’m expecting a long journey. It seems to be the trend. I am mostly just starting it so we will see where it goes. Best of luck to you as well!
