N-Acetylcysteine or Carbocisteine
I've been taking N-Acetylcysteine since March for my 'interim' diagnosed Emphysema, with excellent results on combatting mucous & post-nasal drip, but then I read her about Carbocisteine being on prescription. The thing is, N-Acetylcysteine is reportedly higher in other health-giving elements, so what's

Antioxidants - Pro-oxidants.
It's common to reconsider diet following a cancer diagnosis. Perhaps give up foods touted as pro-cancer & load up on those thought to be protective. As though what we should have been eating before, is what we should be eating henceforth. But what if the cancer likes the new diet? It's widely accepted

N-Acetylcysteine
My primary care provider suggested I begin taking NAC , which I have now for about a month. Has anyone here had experience with it? I've read some studies related to MS and NAC with some encouraging results. I'm sure it's just coincidence, but my walking has been much better for the past three weeks

My list of daily supplements
Now that I am finally recovering from the flu I am going to post what the daily regimen of supplements I am taking. Prior to listing the vitamins, minerals, amino acids....I am taking, I need to relate a little history. I have a degree in sculpture and was exposed to many chemicals including toluene

N-Acetylcysteine reducing antibodies?
I tried searching on this forum but didn’t find much info. TL;DR: Does anyone have info about n-acetylcysteine and it’s ability to reduce Hashimoto antibodies? Here’s my story: I have Hashimoto’s, and my antibodies had been going up constantly since diagnosis about 2 years ago. In order to reduce them

Does anyone with endometriosis have their period every single day?
She prescribed me
Primolut
N
, which is basically an extra boost of hormones to stop the bleeding. When i'm not bleeding as much, there is less pain, so our goal was to stop the bleeding.

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Cruciferous Phytochemicals - [5] Sulforaphane
This is the 5th & final installment on cruciferous vegetable phytochemicals. The best source of sulforaphane is broccoli sprouts [1]. You may have seen BroccoSprouts in the local supermarket [2]: "BroccoSprouts® Broccoli Sprouts are the only product that guarantees a consistent level of sulforaphane

N-ACETYLCYSTEINE REDUCES LUPUS DISEASE ACTIVITY
I came across this study in Pubmed about a week ago and decided to give it a try. So far I am about almost one week into it. I do a combination of NAC, 1200mg 3 times daily and one Whey protein shake that gives me the equivalent of at least the additional 1200mg of NAC, so far no GI issues or anything

Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Magnolia - magnolol - honokiol - obovatol - Relora
Timing of this post is due to Gus, who recently posted enthusiastically about honokiol & time to Lupron failure. [1] The following deals with three constituents of the magnolia that have been shown to have anti-tumor effects in PCa: magnolol, honokiol & obovatol. Mention should be made of Relora: "

About Nilotinib
Yea I know, I am on hiatus, but I am rendering video files which take about 2 hours to make 1 and I was bored (blah, blah, blah....). Threads on Nilotinib has been posted often on this site (dating back 3 years) and I decided to investigate it a bit. When you read this thread you will understand why

The possible dangers of EGCG.
This posting is a followup raising issues about the combination of EGCG + Salmon oil + Vitamin C or quercetin/bromelain with levodopa as a substitute for Carbidopa/levodopa (EGCG....levodopa) or Entacapone + levodopa (quercetin + levodopa). The forth posting in the thread. https://healthunlocked.com

Is there an option to stop?
This time, my doctor prescribed me with another medication,
Primolut

. I'm not sure yet how my body will react to it, but she warned me about the weight gain and heavy feeling on my pelvis and breast. To sum it up, after 6 months in Lupron, and a dozens of pills.

A new piece of research into how endo responds to N-Acetyl Cysteine...which you can buy in Holland & Barrett!!
I have been trawling the depths of the net, fishing for treatments for and research into endometriosis and I will post any links for anyone who is interested in this type of information. My latest trawl has turned up this study in Italy dated 2013 - ”A Promise in the Treatment of Endometriosis: An Observational
