Pvc/ectopics/anxiety
Hi All, Hope you guys are doing well during these tough times. I wanted to ask you, For the people who have palpitation/pvcs during the day and seem to be healthy. How do the pvcs behave when jogging or during a workout? Let me know. I really appreciate it.

Lexapro or Prozac - what works better for arrhythmia?
I was wondering if anyone here had an experience with either Lexapro or Prozac working for their arrhythmia? I was on Lexapro for quite a few years, but didn't have the irregular heartbeats at that time. Then I decided to stop the Lexapro as I was gaining too much weight. After 2 months from stopping

Afib or flutter?
What is the difference between Afib and flutter? I’ve been having bouts of quivering in my chest - side of rib cage really - and it’s really worrying me, particularly as I also have PVCs and a history of RVOT tachycardia. I’ve had a recurrence of tachycardia over the past month - heartbeat of around

Fears over fluttering in chest
I’ve had bouts of tachycardia and PVCs for 7 years, usually controlled by Flecainide and Verapamil. The tachycardia’s started again lately - 6 bouts over the past 6 weeks, heart rate about 100bpm, lasting 2 hours usually. Also now I have a fluttering/quivering sensation in my chest, and a different feeling

Weight in pregnancy- have I gained enough?
Risks of being underweight include
premature
birth
, less energy and fat stores to maintain breastfeeding and baby may have more health risks. I’ve only put on 2lbs since Christmas and lost a 1lb of that last week. I eat every 2 hours and have a good diet.

New found issues with PACs
Has anyone ever had extreme pacs out of the blue? I have an implantable loop recorder so I was able to catch a lot of what was doing on. They told me they saw frequent PACS and there were a few episodes that were so long my EPs office thought for a moment I had afib- two episodes that lasted for SIX

Raised heart rate and regular ectopics
I was diagnosed with RVOT in 2013 and have had PVCs for years. Over the past few weeks I’vd had regular bouts of increased heart rate - between 80s and mid 90s - for up to 2 hours at a time, (that’s high for me) with thumping ectopics. This is scary. I take Flecainide and Verapamil and can’t help thinking

Amazing peer-reviewed AI bots that predict premature births were too good to be true: Flawed testing bumped accuracy from 50% to 90%+
They identified an EHG data set on Physionet that was used to train

-predicting software in 24 published studies. After analyzing each one, they determined 11 of the papers mixed their training and testing data, which led to wildly incorrect accuracy scores.

Heart problems, stomach problems...normal tests.
So, about 3 months ago I was hospitalized with sepsis. I was hooked to an IV for 3 weeks with constant daily antibiotics. Ever since I've been out of the hospital, I've had a lot of strange issues with my heart...and now my stomach. As far as my heart goes, it started with bouts of rapid heartbeat or

Blood test shows high potassium
Hi everyone, I posted recently about concerns about endocarditis. I had a blood test for that on Tuesday and the surgery rang a few minutes ago to say it showed my potassium levels were high at 5.5 and could I repeat the blood test in a month’s time. The surgery’s now closed so of course no Doctors are

Endocarditis concerns
I have leaky heart valves (Mitral and Tricuspid) and am very worried at the moment about Endocarditis. I haven’t got a temperature, but have had mild, cold-like symptoms on and off for a few weeks, with the occasional night sweat and occasional shivering. None of these are permanent, and I’ve been getting

Heart beat irregularity, mostly extra beats when I get up, turn to the side in the morning or breath in very deeply. Anyone experience this?
HI so the last week I've been sleeping so so and getting up in the night. I've since then lowered my stress and get to bed earlier and found a way to sleep more soundly to completely decompress my body. However I noticed that on those days where I slept like crap thenight before, a few things happen

Back in A&E last night!
Hey guys, Well since May 2018 I have been doing reasonably well in that I’ve not had to attend a hospital Emergency room for any cardiac related matters. But that changed yesterday. For the last couple of weeks I’ve been experiencing changes in my heart behaviour. From PVC’s to SVT and extended bouts

27 years old, starting sotalol. Any experience?
Hey guys, so I'm 27 years old and 4 years post op for bicuspid aortic valve disease. A year ago I was running 6 miles a day healthy as can be, when suddenly I started to get PVCs. They would quickly progress so fast that I get them constantly, almost every beat when I'm mobile. They're symptomatic and

Continuous PVCS
Ahhhh! These pvcs are driving me insane. I've had them very frequently now for 3 years. The last year has been hell. Went to the doctor many times, had a few EKGS, echocardiogram, and many bloodwork orders. I have high bp, and on 1 med for that. I'm sure its anxiety related as well as I'm about 30lbs
