I have low levels but I am in doubt whether to use DHEA directly or, as I read a few times, supplementing with Pregnenolone. I am also on HRT.

I also have been prescribed Pregnenolone. Currently I take the Levothyroxine and 1st dose of the T3 in the morning (together and first thing), and then the 2nd dose of the T3 at 2pm. I take the Pregnenolone in between these times.

Stupidly, I recently tried pregnenolone as I suffer still from muscle fatigue and weakness. It wasn’t a good idea as it must’ve pushed up my estrogen giving me really full boobs if nothing else! Now, around 6 weeks later I’m really struggling.

I’m waiting on bloods but I suspect an estrogen increase as a result of using pregnenolone is the cause. My question to those more knowledgeable is, how much can I alter my dose to try to counteract things like this? So if I felt my levels were very low could I add in a bit more?

I’ve just started using pregnenolone to address low testosterone and progesterone issues. Having just had one of my “moments” (sudden anxiety, shakes, cold, tiredness, racing heart), it’s spurred me into posting what I had forgotten to weeks ago! Is there anything I should look out for?

As in the book of dr peatfield, i have tried adrenal cortex, to which i built tolerance somehow im pretty sure, as well as pregnenolone, which does do something but it surely won't raise my cortisol enough to start tolerating thyroid. Anyone have had any experiences with hydrocortisone?

I made hormones profile recently and got to learn that not all of them are within norm: 17 OH-pregnenolone 7,49 , prolactin 411 , free testosteron 0,25, corticosteron 10, progesteron 0,22, estradiol 37, dehydroepiandrosterone 5,35, cortisol in blood 210, 11-desoxicortisol 0,62.
