Hair Loss on Yuflyma
And
prednisone
2.5mg a day currently as I have been tapering off. I noticed some hair loss with the methotrexate , but now its just got worse and really upsetting me. I know myself what my hair was and how it feels now and it is so much lighter.

Should I take daily prednisone dose before CRP test?
I am getting a CRP and Sed Rate test today and wondered if I should withhold my
prednisone
dose until after I have the test? Thanks!

Just can't seem to taper past 3mg of Prednisone.
I am going on 2 1/2 years on
Prednisone
. I have tapered down from 15mg to below 1mg three times and haven't been able to make it. It took me an entire year to taper from 3mg to below 1mg, while tapering 1/4 mg below 1 for a month at a time.

Strong negative reaction to first Docetaxel treatment
I have responded extremely well to ADT with Lupron,
prednisone
and Zytiga. PSA from 466 to <.10 between February and May. Should I attempt to continue chemo? I am probably willing to try again with some preventative measures thrown in but cannot go through again what I experienced this week.

I am now down to 3 mg of
prednisone
and have had pmr for 2.5 years. Have been reducing since my last flare, at .5 mgs per 5 weeks with the old and new dose alternating for a week at the beginning. Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year to all.

I’m at end stage emphysema have just come off a dose of
prednisone
. Felt halfway human and motivated to do small jobs around the house. It felt so good just to make us both a cup of tea What is the reason why GPS are against giving a small does daily just to be able to have some quality of life.

Urinary incontinence in mCRPC
Moved to Zytiga in March 2024 with 5 mg
prednisone
twice daily Lupron injections every six months. The problem right now is the urinary incontinence. My father never had a prostate biopsy and at this point doesn't want one as he says too much could go wrong with that.

I was diagnosed as having PMR 12 months ago and was started on 15mg
Prednisone
which was changed to 20mg after a consultation with my Rheumatologist. I then gradually reduced my dose slowly down to 7.5. mg a day.

I just found out the cause of my autoimmune chronic pancreatitis and it’s not good. I have Sjögren’s syndrome.
I have osteoporosis, not from
prednisone
but from lack of nutrients from the pancreatitis. I need to go on a steroid to help stop my body from effecting multiple lungs, kidney’s, liver and pancreas. I have 4 cysts on my pancreas too. I had lymphoma from Sjogren’s but didn’t know why at the time.
