Hi all for the last two months my legs have felt rubbery and like jello. They are strong enough no issue there as I can still do all my physical activities. However they feel weak. I am now down to 3 mg of prednisone and have had pmr for 2.5 years. Have been reducing since my last flare, at .5 mgs per 5 weeks with the old and new dose alternating for a week at the beginning.
Merry Christmas and a Healthy and Happy New Year to all.

The weak and wobbly legs is something that I am very familiar with. I have always associated it with the PMR and it went on for months, then spontaneously resolved at the same time as the awful fatigue. The fatigue was a big issue for me before I started taking pred. Mine could be due to the adrenals, as other have mentioned, but as I now get the same relief from 5 mg pred as I originally got from 15 mg, I am hopeful that it resolved because my PMR is improving. Though it seems that most of us with PMR go through this phase at some stage or another.
Mine can be like that. Not all the time but occasionally. You know they are strong enough to do the work but they feel weak. I put it down to adrenals - was happening around 3 and below.
