Trelegy
hello , My GP is changing my preventer inhaler to Trelegy. Does anyone use this? I am rather concerned but my doctor thinks i will benefit from a steroid inhaler now rather than taking prednisolone when i have flare ups.

Prednisone timing
I have been taking my
prednisone
at around 3.00 am, which has worked well for me. Am now at 7mg and reducing to 6.5. It seems sensible to move my first dose to 6 a.m when I naturally wake up. so that my own cortisol can take over. Does this make sense? Thanks, Jane

Adrenal insufficiency
Does anyone suffer with adrenal insufficiency due to long term use of Prednisolone. I have been on it for about 12 years - 5mgs daily - and have now been told that I most likely have adrenal insuffiency. What are the symptoms and how does it affect you?

Been on
prednisone
for eight months for my battle with PMR and am now experiencing Raynaud syndrome. Wondering if this is a coincidence or if anyone else has had this experience.

Tapering prednisolone and PMR flare ups
Hello, this is probably a very frequently asked question, sorry. I was diagnosed with both PMR and GCA in March 2022 and immediately put on 60mg prednisolone which fixed my symptoms in a few days. Since then I've been tapering successfully until I lowered the dose from 4mg to 3mg. I was feeling fine

SLE patients may have reduced response to COVID-19 vaccination
Specifically, a
prednisone
dose of 10 mg per day or more at the time of vaccination, was associated with a significant reduction in mean antibody levels (5.9 in patients not taking the medication, 4.5 in those taking a dose lower than 10 mg/day, and 3.6 in those taking a dose of 10 mg/day or higher).

High Blood Pressure and Secondary Therapy
Have any of you been able to switch using
Prednisone
to a diuretic or another drug that won't produce a rise in BP? 2. Have any of you been put on Beta Blockers to control your BP and how much success have you had?
