I came of pramipexole too
Is been 2 years since coming of the
pramipexole
, I vowed then never to take a any pharma meds for my RR again, is still at times very difficult especially if I've done to much, which for me is not to difficult because I've got MS to contend with as well, I take an iron tablet in the morning, around 5pm

Hi I’m now 6 weeks off
pramipexole
, my ferritin is 135 after upping my iron regime (which had slipped whilst I was on
pramipexole
) and I’ve been taking 100mg Gabapentin at bedtime.

Alcohol in liniment????
I'm starting to reduce the second tablet of
pramipexole
by a quarter every two weeks from now on and see how I go. If that's too much a jump, I'll take it slower. First night on lower dose tonight and I cannot believe this bout of legs is related. I only took the tablet half an hour ago. :)

Weaning off Pramipexole
Tomorrow night will be #14 and last
pramipexole
for me since i started weaning off last October. For me it's been one challenge after another. Not knowing what to expect each night. Some nights have been nothing short of torture.

Restless Legs moving up the body
My Neurologist who diagnosed me with RLS and Parkinson's disease had prescribed
Pramipexole
ER. The insurance company does not want to fill the script due to the cost. Anyone here have that problem? And if so, how did they solve it?

Stranger and stranger...Update from restlessstoz.
I will continue to decrease the
pramipexole
over time, though do it gradually and slowly- my GP thinks it a good idea regardless of how my legs are now. I would be happy to hear from anyone who has some ideas about this.

Any advice please
I have been taking
Pramipexole
for a few months now with little or no relief. Previous to this I was taking Pergolide which worked perfectly for many years however now it is unavailable so I'm having to try alternatives.

Update on Weaning off Pramipexole (Mirapex)
It's been 4 months since I wrote last. At that time I had reduced my original decade long dose of 1.5mg to .75mg over the course of several months taking it at .25 step. I am now at .5mg and have been for a while. As others have reported, venturing below .65 is when withdrawal symptoms really start

Life after pramipexole!
After being off
pramipexole
for around a month I have restarted Gabapentin (100mg) I did take it when I was weaning but not surprisingly it didn’t seem to help. The 3 nights I have taken it have given me some better sleep. My fingers are crossed!!

Restless leg syndrome
Given
pramipexole
and got migraines, cold sweats, suicidal thoughts, mood swings, exhaustion, depression. I am considering suicide. Can't take it anymore. If no solution, I would rather die than live with this condition.

Medication other than DA?!
Hi all - After being fed up of the horrible feeling I get during the day having taken my DA
pramipexole
, whereby I just feel tired and like I can't/don't want to do anything. I came off it. Which was pretty difficult. I've been off prami for just over a week (I was on 0.088mg).

Here we go again... and again... and again!
I'm on less than a quarter of the dose of
pramipexole
so that's a huge thing and I must surely finish withdrawals eventually, once I'm off the drug. It's so hard though trying to live normally when I can't even open my eyes properly- my lids are constantly at half mast.

Has anyone tried memantine for restless legs?
The
pramipexole
he has been taking is not as effective, and I’m searching for another answer. I’m very intrigued by the glutamate hypothesis and therefore am interested in memantine and trazodone as a treatment approach.
