Is been 2 years since coming of the pramipexole, I vowed then never to take a any pharma meds for my RR again, is still at times very difficult especially if I've done to much, which for me is not to difficult because I've got MS to contend with as well, I take an iron tablet in the morning, around 5pm I take one magnesium citrate tablet 200mg, around 9-10pm I have a banana and another two magnesium citrate tablets, which works well unless I do to much or get to cold, if all else fails I get a shower and put cotton pyjamas on, don't know why they have to be cotton, but if I put anything other than cotton on they start.

I came of pramipexole too
Getting off of Pramipexole is, in my mind, the hardest job there is. Congratulations on doing that!I’ve also noticed a correlation between being too cold and torturous legs.

Hi, my legs MUST be warm before going to bed. If they are cold I have a soak in a hot asi can stand it bath with a cup of Epsom salts in it, for about 20 minutes. The other thing I am going to try is iodine supplement. Dr Brownstein has a lot of information about this on YouTube, and will help with cold extremities as well as the restless legs (hopefully)!
Welshone, perhaps take the iron last thing at night, on an empty stomach, with Vitamin C or orange juice. Iron is much better absorbed this way.
Thanks for the iron, I do take it on an empty stomach, but I take it from in the morning with a vitamin C tablet, I'd take it at a different time but taking it at the same time as magnesium they stop each other from working, one thing I've been taking since November for my MS is CBD oil and it does have a calming effect on my legs.
