Just expressing blood results without T3
Hi all I hope the weather is suiting and D3 soaring š Just to briefly update I've been upping levo to trial it for a good while, and up to 125 now although it always been near top,of range anyway. . And t3 near bottom I'm wondering if I'm stored up in RT3 I'm still unsure about it? Am I right

Fascinating Gravesā Antibodies Study
This is a remarkable study https://eje.bioscientifica.com/view/journals/eje/158/1/69.xml . A couple of caveats. 1. I fortunately have no experience of Gravesā. 2. I have not looked for similar studies that may report different results. The study is excellent in that patients were randomly assigned

Hey everyone Just wondering if anyone else suffers from hormone headaches before their periods? I never used to but since I had a laparoscopy in 2018 and was told I have bowel adhesions, they've started and now have gotten to the point where I without fail have horrendous headachea for 3 days before

Thyroid scan
Hi, just wanted to say a big thank you for your patience and advice on here. My previous blood results were normal and didn't show raised antibodies but was advised to go for thyroid scan to completely rule out hashimotos. I went yesterday and the scan showed no signs of hashimoto or thyroid disease

Pleurisy? Long post
Hi, new here. 6 weeks ago I went to A&E with severe chest/ left rib pain and vomiting. Without performing an x-ray on me, I was told that it was a spinal disc that was protruding into my rib cage. They said this could have been as a result of giving birth just 9 weeks ago and my posture changing? I was

Self medicating - Your personal experience and advice appreciated

Is it normal to be in THIS much pain?
The pain is crippling. Iāve had 2 ultrasound scans which showed nothing. The pain comes and goes in waves. On a bad day itās really bad. The last 7weeks the pain seems to be getting worse. Iām waiting for a date for my laparoscopy. Is it normal for the pain to be mild one day and extreme the next day

supplements interfering with medication
I know it's an obvious one but what are your thoughts/experiences with taking supplements that may interfere with, in my case hydroxychloroquine, or other RA/PsA meds? I started pizotifen a few weeks ago for severe migraine and cluster headache prevention. It worked like magic but I gained 3/4 stone

Hi Iām new here and live in the UK. Pain relief
Hi ladies Do any of you take slow release morphine capsules? Iāve been prescribed these but just feel reluctant to take them as I hate side effects although I take codeine (cocodamol) and occasionally ocycodone for worse pain Just wondering if the slow release ones will be more effective...I want to

Rheumy telephone appointment earlier
As most of you know Iāve been struggling despite the steroid injections into the knees and starting Sulfasalazine. I had my follow up with my rheumatologist earlier this afternoon and the upshot is that the steroid injections lasted all of three weeks. The Sulfasalazine she was hoping would have had
