Pluvicto

At the heart of my confusion is the function of FDG in giving a positive outcome to Pluvicto infusions. Is it a good thing to have lots of 'FDG Avid' showing up, or do you want those aspects of the scan to be as hidden as possible (so that the PSMA -Avid cells can be identified and zapped?

He stopped responding to Docetaxel, Pluvicto and is now not responding to Cabazitaxel, his PSA is now over 700. He is feeling good, no pain so we continue to be surprised and disappointed that he's not responding to treatment.

My husband's lab work for tomorrow's treatment shows a new low on his PSA, 7.9. Again there are blood numbers that are in the "low" range but last time the Doctor Wasn't concerned and we were able to return to Mexico 3 days after treatment. His weight is down 10 lbs from last time but i be been sick

So far: Aug 16: PSA 99.7 Aug 21: Pluvicto #1 Sep 11: PSA 106 Sep 28: PSA 91.8 Oct 05: Pluvicto #2 Oct 25: PSA 57.8 Nov 09: PSA 47.4 So it appears to continue to work. I know that doubling time is important so I was just wondering if halving time has any importance.

Pluvicto could very well have helped, though ADT surely is playing a major role. Once the study data results get published out we can get a better idea of the relative contributions.

We tried Pluvicto earlier this year but it didn’t work. He is now on Cabo, Xofigo(R223) and soon to get Keytruda. We are hoping this line of treatment can ease the pain from bone mets which make it hard to even walk. The pain meds can only go so far and have harsh side effects.

Have had my third Infusion of PLUVICTO............Usually takes me a week to pull out of the side effects and start a normal , if i can say "Normal " life. Will have that nuclear scan and blood work to see if the infusion is working to any degree. If NOT, we will try something else.

I’ve had 5 infusions of Pluvicto ending in July. I now have daily fatigue that causes me to nap 2+- hours every day; I used to be very active. What, if anything, are you doing to combat the fatigue? Thank you!

I had my fifth Pluvicto treatment at Mayo on November 5 and mentioned that I was taking a trip overseas from November 16-27. The nurse mentioned that she was aware of a couple of cases of Pluvicto setting off airport radiation detectors, but that it was rare.

If this is negative, I plan to self-pay for Pluvicto if I am eligible for it. Not cheap, but my options are running out.

Just completed Pluvicto treatment #5 of 6 and extremely thankful for the good results. Had a PSMA Pet scan before #5 and it shows that PCa continues to disappear (read from right to left — pre-treatment, after two treatments, and after four treatments).

My husband is scheduled to start Pluvicto in November. We know it is expensive and wonder how those on the site who have had it paid for it. Regular insurance? Medicare? other?

In a way I feel like my Pluvicto from 10/22 to 6/23 just pissed the cancer off. Sept PSMA PET scan showed some lymph nodes resolved but new ones showing up. Currently on Orgovyx (joy) and have done Erleada and Zytiga,but not Xtandi. Any thoughts on possible options?

My FIL has been approved for treatment with Pluvicto. Was on waiting list to get it in RI but the hospital does not have it yet and there’s no clear timeline. Does anyone know of locations in Southeastern Massachusetts?

I started Pluvicto a couple of weeks ago. The S/E are bad. In a short time, my PSA dropped from 30 to 23; it’s promising. I’m tired, lonely and scared at times. No partner, parents or siblings. All my first cousins are on the East Coast , I’m in California. Most good friends have moved away.

My medical oncologist is hell bent on me doing Lu 177 pluvicto next, I was hoping to try other things first… Medical Oncologist suggested waiting for the next two months to see if PSA is still rising…and to do a pet scan Diagnosed 06/2022 Gleason 8/9 Oligo metastatic 3 lytic lesions two resolved

I am curious if most of you that have been through Pluvicto experienced a PSA rise initially? I just finished my first injection, and did see a bit of a jump in PSA level. I had a similar experience in the SPLASH trial last year. After the first Lu177 injection, my PSA shot up quite a lot.

We looked into Pluvicto but our family doctor and oncologist don’t seem to think that it would benefit him unless he gets more mobile and gets his pain under control.

Will Pluvicto have any impact on them? Martin also had radiation to the lymph nodes in 2020 so does this mean they are cancer free now? We are hoping Pluvicto will give him a better prognosis. Is there anything else we should be looking at?

We also reviewed PSA history during and post Pluvicto, 3.2 prior to start, 7.2 after fourth treatment and now 24 at six months post treatment. Both my onco’s said PSA is not as important as scan when on Pluvicto and that Provenge will not bring PSA down.
