fatigue after Pluvicto

I was diagnosed with PC in 2012…had robotic surgery followed by all of the assortment of meds that we all take. I’ve had 5 infusions of Pluvicto ending in July. I now have daily fatigue that causes me to nap 2+- hours every day; I used to be very active. What, if anything, are you doing to combat the fatigue? Thank you!

Oh fuck I had not thought much about that. I will be starting Pluvicto in a couple of weeks. It does often kill bone marrow and cause anemia. I hopr I am an exception to that, I am already having trouble staying awake during the day. No problem staying awake at night :)

Last year I completed 6 infusions of Pluvicto at Dana Farber in Boston. This was under a Study funded by Novartis. Yes I too dealt with fatigue, and low blood count. Once I forced myself to get back to hiking and Rowing. I started to feel better. Almost a year latter my blood count is still slightly low but fatigue has been greatly reduced. The effects of Pluvicto only lasted 6 months for me with PSA slowly increasing. I met with Dr. Sam Denmeade and have now embarked on a self directed BAT protocol. So far, so good with improved QOL.

DH seems to be have more energy now 3 months have passed since he finished Pluvicto He slept a lot during the day. He was anemic, so we considered diet when planning meals to include iron rich foods and protein. We've never eaten so much red meat! And spinach fixed multiple ways. Push yourself to exercise-walking is good. Then give your body time to heal. Sleep is essential for rebuilding and healing.

BTW: preliminary look at PET scan shows a drastic decrease in metastasis. Still some hot spots, but not like before. Good results are energizing, too. Wishing you the best.

Two months ago completed 5 rounds of Pluvicto.

Continued to do daily 3 mile run 5am every morning, continued to work full-time (even during treatment).

Think the key is to continue exercising.

Riddle of the day as opposed to Middle?

Now guess why we all suffer from fatigue............ My guess is, because of a monster who is identified by a 6 letter word that begins with the letter "C" and ends with the letter "R"?........ (Did you Count?).

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
