Chemo Update March 27, 2024
Apparently here in Canada they don't offer
Pluvicto
as SOC yet. I am running out of options.

Skull Metastasis
My recent PSMA PET scan an d probably confirmed by SPECT scans after
Pluvicto
show bone metastasis in my skull as well as in other bones (one of which has an SUV of 38) and which was quite painful before
Pluvicto
but has lessened quite a lot in pain level.

Questions After SBRT Treatment
Hello Everyone, MO told me to do
Pluvicto
After SBRT Treatment 2nd MO told me to do Chemo after the SBRT Treatment, so I am glad I did not go to the third MO, lol. What's the best thing to do after SBRT? My choice is PROVENGE. It also looks tricky to convince MO.

BAT and Pluvicto?
Docetaxel has failed and I am now waiting to hear if insurance will cover
Pluvicto
. Any thoughts on starting BAT now in case
Pluvicto
doesn’t happen? Can you do both at the same time? I don’t think this has been studied. Can’t find anything on it anyway.

PLUVICTO.................
Getting ready for my 5th infusion of
Pluvicto
. The side effects usually ground me for two to three weeks, and i always say that i am through, and can't stand anymore. When i started, my PSA was 42 + a point. It went down to 22+ a point and as of today it is 10.6.

mCRPC end of ADT--staying the course.
I have been so stressed about what comes next with chemo or
Pluvicto
. I am at peace with what we are doing. If you haven’t read the book it is a must-read.

6 pluvicto treatments completed in January 24
Treatments went well. My PMSA scans never showed improvements but my labs were good and I felt good. Psa decreased from 53 to 5.6 over 8 months. April bone scan shows progression. Mo says chemo again is next call. We are enjoying this time as still feeling good.

options after Docetaxel
Now his oncologist wants him to do
Pluvicto
and if not then do Cabizataxel. Are there other options we should look into? I do not think he is strong enough to do
Pluvicto
since it is in the sacrum area and he is in quite a bit of pain and is not able to drive himself.

At the crossroads (again)
My profile is up to date, but, briefly, have failed chemo, ADT (am castrate resistant), failed Keytruda and now
Pluvicto
. Scans yest. & today show progression along with PSA rise. All my mets are in bone. So, my SOC choices are cabazataxel or radium 223.

Another brother passes
Failed ADT, chemo and
Pluvicto
. He was not on this forum. He was very active, skied 120 days a year, biked the rest. He and his wife went to Europe every year. One year to ski and the next to bike. He lived a full life, and that is all we can ask.

Successful Pluvicto Treatment
Since
Pluvicto
appeared to be my last and best hope to push my PCa back, I feel extremely grateful about these results.

Meninges
He has had one
Pluvicto
treatment so far on 12/26. Next one is 2/6. MO mentioned whole brain radiation and continuing to see if
Pluvicto
would work on the meninges. They are prescribing a Fentanyl patch for him because the dilaudid doesn’t always work and he takes it every six hours.

Update on neuroendocerine prostate cancer mets to liver.
He is wondering if having
pluvicto
is wise. Am just wondering if anyone on the forum have knowledge on this. If the FDG scan shows there is no cancer in the liver is this the case or could there be minuscule amounts. Would
Pluvicto
be wise to do right now?
