Colomycin
Good morning everyone I wondered if anyone has had a similar experience, with inhaled Colomycin. I've lived with bronchiectasis all of my life , just like many others in the group, I bet. I've had the "usual" bacteria's haemophilus etc,) that we're susceptible to . Now I'm trying to get my Pseudomonas

My alternative approach to acceptance/habituation and "making friends" with Tinnitus
I'll spare you the details, but in short I recently suffered a horrid spell of vertigo and a spike in my tinnitus, which was diagnosed as PPPD (
Persistent
Postural
Perceptual
Dizziness
). This was related to the stress of trying to get used to hearing aids (again) and workload.

Persistent postural-perceptual dizziness
I stumbled on an article around

and the symptoms are exactly what I'm experiencing. I know I'm not a doctor and we all try to find answers and self diagnose but it is uncanny how similar my symptoms are.

Respiratory Physio therapy
For the last 18 months I’ve been paying a physio, who comes to my home twice per week, does good job and clears my lungs completely each time. I feel better. I know respiratory physio is listed in NHS aims for adults with PCD, does anyone actually get it, and does it depend where we live. Im 86 next

Feeling sorry for myself
I’m usually so positive about my health - bronchiectasis, chronic sinusitis & now possibly asthma, but having had little sleep over the past 5 days, I’m feeling down. I’m waiting for the respiratory nurse to phone back as over past 2-3 weeks I’ve been feeling breathless & congested. Thought it felt

See below.
I have severe brochiectasis Postural drainage 3 times a day for 45 minutes. Although it clears my lungs I still get sputum being produced on the left lung which makes me cough even when sitting. Brown inhaler does not work. It is for Asthma. Aerobika is to loosen sputum. No good. It is loose

Aerobika
Morning all, I started using the aerobika twice a day in the last few months and thought I would let you know my experience. I use it for twenty minutes and it seems to compare to postural drainage for clearing mucus. However, I noticed about four weeks ago that I can drink far more water. This is unscientific

Airway clearance. Postural drainage
I thought this was interesting on how to drain your lungs. I think part of helping your brain detox and drain away waste is making sure all your drainage systems from your sinuses to your chest are working well. https://www.cff.org/Life-With-CF/Treatments-and-Therapies/Airway-Clearance/Basics-of-Postural-Drainage-and-Percussion

Happy Christmas
I’ve done my own postural drainage for many years, learnt more about it when had operation for something else then saw physio at my GP surgery for short session to ensure doing it properly. Recently Breathing deteriorated and have asked GP and consultant if I can have one session with physio to check

24/7 anxiety Update.
It's something called
Persistent

perceptual
dizziness
(PPPD). I feel a constant swaying all the time. I also think I have a hyperstimulated nervous system because I'm always in a state of worry and anxiety. Do you think this could possibly be what I'm suffering with?

Living withPCD
Morning all! Hope everyone is as well as can be expected! I’m 33 with PCD. Unfortunately for me, it was a late diagnosis and as a result I have bronchiectasis. When I was growing up my symptoms were always mistaken for asthma. I suffer with sinus problems too. I was wondering what everyone does to keep

I'd like to introduce myself properly
I've been on here for quite a few months now and you've seen me through a few grim days with help and humour. I realise that I have never really introduced myself properly so thought I would tell you a bit about myself. I'm a retired 66 yr old with a wondeful husband who fusses over me and keeps me

Need advice to on bronchiectasis
Hey everyone, first post here. I have had mild bronchiectasis since I was around 16 (16 years ago) when I had pneumonia. Since then I have managed pretty well with just 15-20 postural drainage every night, and around 1 infection a year that clears up quickly with antibiotics. However this year has been
