Hi, everyone. How are you? I just came back from my clinic appointment and was told news I didn't really want to hear. It spread again to one of lymph nodes near right kidney. That made sense why I had a pain there. I was on single dose of celarsertib for a few years. Now it's discontinued. My consultant

drug holiday
I’m looking for some experiences please about taking an ibrutinib holiday. I see there have been some posts about clinical trials either stopping or reducing days it’s taken. I would really appreciate any feed back. My story is I’ve got really good bloods now and have been taking ibrutinib for 4 years

Share Your Voice: Shaping the Future of Clinical Trial Searches
Dear Friends, Clinical trial search engines suck. Most are primitive and return hit-or-miss results. Things I Like About ADT
I know that no one, like NO ONE, actually wants to be on ADT. There are a lot of downsides to it, and complaints about the fatigue, lack of sex drive, etc. are a common theme on this forum. I'm about a year out now from starting on Zoladex shots (a drug that works in the same way as Lupron), and I

Troponin serial levels
I had an Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest back in Sept last year. Long story short came out of hospital a week later with a defibrillator implanted. However, my discharge letter stated that a Troponin test was done as usual I presume and the serial levels were quoted as 163 and 425. I have been curious

After almost 5 years, enrollment (N=506) is now complete! "The trial launched in 2019 and is expected to run through 2024." long term outlook on arrhythmias
I know most of you have AF, whereas I have atrial flutter/SVT/atrial tachycardia. I had an ablation for flutter in October 2020 and am now 55. I enjoyed 3 peaceful years, taking only medication for an under active thyroid and an anticoagulant ( my choice , not the doctors). On Thursday evening my heart

Cardioversion
I recently had a Cardioversion for persistent AF. This worked immediately but very quickly reverted. I have never been aware of the AF, I only get the notification from my BPM. My BP is reasonable (medicated) and my heart rate is always about 66. My main problem is exhaustion and breathlessness. The

Afib worse after ablation
I know that after ablation one has to be patient till the end of the blanking period of 3 months. But Afib gets Afib anyway, and probably it is better to avoid the establishment of rogue signal paths through the heart’s little scars left by ablation. I have a paroxismal Afib, a episode every about
