Palpitations after Heart Attack
Hello, I had a heart attack 5 days ago and have had a stent put into the blocked artery. Last night I experienced heart palpitations which woke me up and then I was so anxious I couldn’t sleep. Is this normal ? Should I visit the doctor ? Thanks in advance 🙏

I had a stent fitted after a heart attack on 29th August. As I have returned to work part time I am doing a bit more. Is it normal to feel breathless?

angioplasty
I am 66 I am going for an angioplasty on the 27th November with the possibility of a stent in LAD. Very nervous. I have had LBBB since in my early 30’s so always got a slight tight chest on hills, i had an angiogram in 2012 and an MRI I was put on Bisoprolol, statins and ramipril after this. Dosage reduced

incredibly lucky
I feel so incredibly lucky after reading some of your stories. I had a HA 5 yrs ago, was told that if someone has to have a HA they would want one like yours? It was explained to me that it was on the right side and very low down?? I stayed overnight in hospital and the first time I saw a consultant

Flu Jab and Heart Failure
Hi All, New on here, just wondering whether anyone has had the flu jab after being diagnosed with Heart Failure? I have an Ejection Fraction between 30%-35%. I had 1 stent in the LAD in July. Had angina as well. Is it advisable to have the flu jab?

Stent progression
Morning, I posted on here 3 months ago since my LAD Stent. Progression as been great. I'm back to running and last month cycled 250 bike packing miles in France solo. Building my heart rate back up to my normal 170 BPM while running. 150 BPM cycling for short periods only. To note I didn't have

Docetaxel only partially successful
I had a full body MRI scan this week at Royal Marsden in London. The purpose was to assess the effectiveness of docetaxel after 3 infusions. The results have been very disappointing, and I'm struggling to keep a sense of perspective - not least because I was feeling so good, and had seen all of my previous

PET scan microvascular disease
Just seen a private cardiologist regarding ongoing chest pain following NSTEMI 6 months ago. Successful stent and no other main artery blockages. Now considering microvascular angina. Anyone know anything about PET scans for that? Sounds expensive and wondering if NHS do this?

Ramipril Or Reflux - Unsure What Is Causing My Cough
Hi I had a heart attack followed by an angioplasty last month, and I am on the meds listed at the end of this message. In general terms I feel really good since the stent was fitted, and five weeks in I’m walking as much as I used to, but am still taking it easy in terms of strenuous activity. Have

huge anxiety a week after stent
I’m young-ish… 46 and had a heart attack 13 days ago and had a stent put in 10 days ago. recovery has been going pretty good with yesterday being a great day where it was the best I’d felt since the heart attack. today though… not so much. Constant underlying anxiety, which for me is awful because

Left arm aching after stent
I'm 52, and had a stent just over 2 weeks ago after an NSTEMI heart attack (stent inserted through the arm). Been having heart palpitations and aching in my left arm on and off since then. Arm ache goes in waves throughout the day, fine for a few hours, then comes on for a few minutes, then goes away
