Delayed nausea and vomiting after chemo
My husband started carboplatin and
pemetrexed
for NSCLC 4 days ago. He is now feeling very sick and vomiting. He's not bringing much up as he can hardly eat. He's been taking metaclopramide for five days now but it's not helping.

immununotherapy/chemo treatment
Is there anybody out there receiving Pembrolizumab/
Pemetrexed
on 3 weekly cycle - I would be very interested to learn of any side effects that they might be suffering from. I have received 6 treatments and am now on Maintenance for the next 2 years.

Husband's NSCLC now spread to liver as pembrolizumab not workin
Now being put on
pemetrexed
and Carboplatin. He's also got to have a bone scan as he now has pain in the groin which could be bone mets. My husband looks healthy and has a good appetite and just had his 60th birthday. Can anyone on this site offer any hope for this chemo to work?

Good news - stage IIIb NSCLC Adeno
Since then I have had four rounds of chemo (Cisplatin,
Pemetrexed
) followed by radical radiotherapy to chest and neck. I then amazingly became eligible for surgery and had a right upper lobectomy in summer 2015.

Chemo affecting kidneys
Hi there, My mum had her first round of chemo (cisplatin and
pemetrexed
) two weeks ago for her stage IV NSCLC and has since been hospitalised (with complications of her cancer - pleural effusion and blood clots) rather than the chemo and she is going home in a day or two.

Excess B12
With his current chemo
Pemetrexed
, the doctor told to take B12 shots 7 days before the chemo with folic acid and he did it during last chemo. His another cycle is coming in one week and I guess we should stop B12 but very confused now since there are many discussion on that. Thanks

Pemetrexed seems not to work
Ceritinib was amazingly successful but pneumonitis meant we had to stop for now. Carb and Pem with 3 cycles of Pem but new brain secondaries. CT body today and Gamma Knife again as mets are symptomatic. Lorlatinib possibly next if available: anyone with success with this or possibly Crizotinib/ Pem if

Docetaxel & Nintedanib for Non Small Cell Lung Cancer with Mets to the bones
My hubbie was diagnosed in August 2016 (then aged 58 years and always been a non-smoker) and went onto chemotherapy (carboplatin and
pemetrexed
) for four sessions, then went onto maintenance
pemetrexed
until it stopped working in March of this year.

Chemo side effects
He's been stable on
pemetrexed
since and has just completed his 55th dose. He's struggling with his mouth (tongue swelling and weird taste carpet tongue etc) he's tried all the mouthwashes. Can only tolerate to drink small amounts of bottled water and not eating much!

First time here - pretty scared
Right now he’s just having the
pemetrexed
chemo every three weeks. He takes 15mg hydromorphone three times a day and 200mg of gabapentin four times a day. Then the breakthrough hydromorphone as needed. Has anyone else experienced these types of symptoms?

Newly diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of lung
Now have had a week's worth of targeted radiation to the head and started chemo last week;
pemetrexed
and carboplatin. Turns out I didn't have any of the "good" mutations they could work with better. MN now has medical cannabis so I'm going to try also cbd oil with a little THC.
