Pregnancy test line progression?
Hi, We are on our 6th round of ivf. Second transfer - frozen hatching embryo. We started testing day 4 (evening) and it is now day 6. We took ovidrel 250 13 days ago- could this line be the trigger? We are also wondering if its chemical as it came up early and we are paranoid it is slightly fading

T3 only worth another PROPER go?
Okay so I made a post last year about being unable tolerate t3 only but I’m actually wondering if I jumped onto t3 mono too quickly and gave up too fast? (Which many others pointed out but at the time I was so unwell I could barely think straight) Prior to starting T3 only back then I was on a too

Bronch advice please!
Evening friends, Well Ive had an amazing run with no need for ABs for the last four years. But I guess it couldnt last for ever. After some nasty laryngospasm and inflammation which wouldn't resolve, I started a course of pred on Saturday and seemed to be responding, but it's gone south today and

reduced thyroxine
Hi all I upped my levo to 112 mcg based on weight and asked here about it and it was said it’s not really recommended! So went back to 100mcg daily. I woke up yesterday feeling really dizzy and not balancing well 😟 I’m wondering if this has anything to do with reduction? Many thanks

Testing protocol
Hi, I'm about to test my T3 and T4, 6 weeks after starting lio. I know that I need to leave 24 hours between my last levo dose and the 9am test (taking my levo straight afterwards). But what about the lio timings? I currently take 10mcg in one dose upon waking. The test is a private test and won't be

Should I be worried about suppressed TSH
I am extremely well and all my bloods seem within normal range to me (but not the GP)! I am 61 years old and was diagnosed with Hashimotos Thyroditis and Chronic Fatigue in 2004. My only health issue is very erratic sleep (one night 8 and a half hours, the next 4) which I handle by resting in the afternoon

Asthma and colds
When I get a cold my peak flow can fall to levels which normally my asthma plan would say to start ringing the gp about. 50 to 60 percent of my max for several days. Issues with walking etc. However I tend to feel, that I am chilled on the subject. My peak flow is low but stable. I can function, just

How to get an accurate T3 reading with bloods?
Ive asked a similar question before, regarding blood testing for T4/T3 and realised for years I was having a blood sample done a few hours after I had taken my Levo upon waking up. People on here then said to have the bloods done that morning before taking T4, to get a more accurate reading. Since then

Fatigue after eating
Husband is getting very sleepy after all meals. His sugar is always below 100 when tested, he takes levothyroxine for low thyroid (waiting for over 2 weeks now on latest blood work and TSH results from PCP. *sigh* He's taking a statin (can't remember the name) and Tamsulosin. Current cancer treatment

Not feeling the Heat like I usually do!!!
Hi all For years, I've really felt the heat during the summer months but, this summer, I'm actually feeling quite comfortable, which is great and I'm certainly not complaining. I have change my thyroid meds, at the end of last year, so several months ago. I was on Levothyroxine 150mcg daily but GP

new to NHS in Northern Ireland
Hi there. Moved to NI two years ago. The local GP won't prescribe anything other than T4 and won't refer to an endocrinologist. Does anyone in Belfast know an NHS or private endocrinologist who is open-minded to using T3 as a supplement to the T4 therapies? I'm feeling poorly and they just accept

Hashimoto's blood test and cortisol tests
I have been asked by my GP Surgery to provide them with the list of blood tests I believe are correct for a patient with Hashimoto's. I don't seem to be able to find it. Would someone be kind enough to show me where I may find it please? Is it the same as under active blood test or are there 'extras'

Anyone been prescribed T3 by endo in Leeds? I need to advise my son's partner. Please send a pm (chat) to me.
Good morning, can I pick your brains? My son's partner has Hashimoto's and still has symptoms despite normal blood test results and I'm urging her to request a referral to an endocrinologist for a trial of T3. She is new to hypothyroidism and her fT4 and fT3 results indicate she is a poor converter,
