Hi all I upped my levo to 112 mcg based on weight and asked here about it and it was said it’s not really recommended! So went back to 100mcg daily. I woke up yesterday feeling really dizzy and not balancing well 😟 I’m wondering if this has anything to do with reduction? Many thanks

Hi Doris,

How long was you on 100mcg and how long were you on 112mcg before switching back to 100mcg? And, how long have you been on 100mcg now?

Irrespective of blood tests results, in my personal view I think yo-yoing on different doses upsets the whole body and each dose change needs time to settle. It is often suggested on here when fine tuning a dose, wait longer for a dose to settle eg 12 weeks.

I wonder if you what you are experiencing is down to the frequency of changing doses.

Hi HealthStarDust thankyou for your reply poss about a year withought looking at my medical records! I tried 112mcgs for no longer than 3 weeks? I just thought I’d take more for weight 🙈🙈🙈🙈

OK, yes that’s no long enough to assess a dose affects. And, if you felt well on 100mcg there would be no reason to increase dose.
