Positive Reticulin Antibodies Test
Hi All. Thank you for adding me to your forum. I've also posted this on the Gluten Free Guerrillas forum, as I'd appreciate any help or insights. I've been on a bit of a health journey this last few years, with very unhelpful GP's. I had lots of symptoms of fatigue, brain fog, aches, numbness and tingling

B12, folate
In January, I managed to get B12 included in the blood tests (only by getting the nurse to write it down on the form at the time of the test). Level came back at 404 (range 197 to 771). I didn't know at the time to ask for ferritin and folate to be tested. GP put me on cyanocobalamin tablets, 50mcg

Slightly low TSH - have no idea if this means anything?
I am a total novice when it comes to thyroid tests! In January my HRT (50yo female) did not seem to be helping with my fatigue and joint pain so I had a range of blood tests. My B12 and Vit D were low so I have commenced the protocols for those. My serum TSH was 0.40 (0.30 - 4.20) which I see is in

Newly Diagnosed
I was diagnosed with Osteopenia in July of 2018. I was told to continue with Vitamin D and Calcium daily. It did absolutely nothing. After doing some research, and with the numbers I had, I should have definitely been scanned again before 3 years/3 months later. November 2021 my left femur went "up"

Results - don't know what to make of them
I can see Vit D is way too low despite my daily tablet! I've just bought Thorne 25mcg plus K2 200mcg drops so hopefully they are better. I will take them twice a day for the next few weeks then once a day. My Anti thyroid peroxidase antibodies are obviously through the roof but I guess that is because

Advice about plan of treatment
I am 67, was diagnosed with PMR 2 weeks ago after 4 weeks of symptoms (stiffness and pain in neck, arms, shoulders, couldn't raise arms above shoulders, immense tiredness etc). Initial GP contact was excellent - he identified the problem, blood tests same day, consult 2 days later to confirm diagnosis

Hi Everyone Hoping for some advice before I speak to my GP following recent bloods. Background is in bio but in a nutshell – Hashis/Hypothyroid diagnosis (as well as Coeliac diagnosis) in April/May 2022 after 2 years of symptoms. Slowly been increasing my levo dosage since then. My last dosage uplift

Lactose intolerance advice and absorption issues
I am taking my thyroxine at 7.30 am and 2 hours before breakfast with no tea before. Some days I feel I am absorbing the hormone but it doesn’t last, and I had a day recently when I had energy and wellness, but it only lasted an hour followed by intense hunger (after a meal) and then feeling like I

I have osteoporosis and I took Fosamax for a while and then lost 6 teeth! I stopped taking it a while ago, but my back is giving me grief now. I am taking calcium and Vitamin D, but I need to find out whether there are any alternatives to alendronic acid.

Getting GP on board
Slightly frustrating GP appointment. Recent NHS bloods showed TSH only just within the lab range (4.24) but higher than a few years ago, T4 at 11.9 but within range. I sent my Medichecks results through beforehand showing a TSH of 6.1 and antibodies >200. She didn't exactly dismiss them but queried
