The EP at Lovelace Heart in Albuquerque, Dr. Bestswros, (aka TopGun Maverick) zapped everything in sight after trying the usual suspects. His notes: “Pulmonary vein isolation was performed at the level of the antrum. Successful PVI of LSVP. PVI x 3 confirmed. Rotor ablation for atrial fibrillation.

Psilocybin clinical trial
For people in both New York (NYU) and Colorado (CU Anschutz). Dont forget about the mental health side of fighting this dragon, whether traditional mental health services or something novel like this clinical trial. I’ve done traditional mental health (with anxiety meds) for a couple years now to help

Hot off the press. Randomized, double-blind safety trial of high dose nicotinamide riboside in Parkinson’s disease.

Flax Seeds and A-fib
Hi everyone, I was thinking of introducing milled flax seeds in to my diet as a health thing after watching a programme on them. However, after doing a Google search I am finding that certain sites are pointing towards it not being a good thing when on Anticoagulants. I’m on Apixiban,Bisoprolol and digoxin

exercise anxiety
I used to be a kean, regular runner and back in July 2020 I went running in extreme heat and didn’t feel as energised as normal and felt very lethargic and my heart rate showed readings of up to 208bpm and quite erratic. Again I just put this down to exhaustion. Anyway cutting a long story short, I felt

Quality of life questionnaire for hypothyroid?
Hi there, I've literally been diagnosed with hypothyroidism a week ago and started levothyroxine today, and feeling quite irritated really as it's clear to me now I've obviously had this a long time. TSH is 14.7 which doesn't seem great from what I am reading. What eventually got it diagnosed was me

Afib or something else
A few months ago my Cardiologist told me to stop taking Flecainide daily, and switch to Pill in the Pocket. This morning I woke, to an irregular heartbeat. Normally when I have Afib I definitely feel it, and I also feel a bit lightheaded. Today is different. My pulse is only a bit higher than usual
