Symptoms and diagnosis! HELP
I called 111 and was told to take
paracetamol
and go to bed, only to call a paramedic at midnight as I could not take the pain and had a fever. I was admitted to hospital where they detected an ovarian cyst of 5.6cm…to small to operate.

Swollen and painful back of throat
I am very concerned with the throat and have been taking
paracetamol
to reduce the pain. One morning the throat was so swollen I was struggling to speak/gulp and felt I was going to choke - took some antihistamine as this sorted the issue previously.

Pain post laparoscopy
I had a laparoscopy last night and my doctors have only prescribed me
paracetamol
for the pain. Its been really bad under my ribs and shoulder all night. Is there anything else they can give me? They removed a small amount of adhesions and my left ovary was stuck to the lining.

Fever after transfer.... should I be worried?
My temperature is still consistently above 38 even with regular
paracetamol
. Against my better instinct I've been googling and have freaked myself out about the potential impact of being unwell and having a fever during the 2ww.

Post Ablation - Overview Day 1-5
Rested for the remainder of the day with just some mild central chest pain to deal with by way of regular
paracetamol
. The chest pain did make sleeping on my front or side impossible so it was a night of broken sleep propped up on pillows.

An update on my journey
I also discovered that I could take
paracetamol
alongside my Naproxen and advised to take as much as I feel I need up to the max.

They are soluble and fizz because they are a bit like bicarbonate of soda 3 soluble co-codable or
paracetamol
is the equivalent to a tea spoon of salt and if you take the full dose of 8 in day it’s almost your full recommend salt intake before anything else.

upper right quadrant pain
I’m lucky if ibruprofen,
paracetamol
and codeine together take the edge off. Otherwise it’s about 4 days of agony. Laid in bed, contorting into positions, crying, hovering over going to A and E but talking myself out of it because of the thought of feeling that way for hours in the waiting room.

Costochondritis or what the heck is going on.
So I've been doing really well except the shoulder which hurts, most likely because of pinched nerve in neck, has bothered me since returning from trip. Couple of days ago noticed a slight tenderness in chest, reminiscent of what was probably costochondritis from pre-PMR days although I never had a

how quick does increase in MTX take effect
Whilst not too bad and seem to plateau recently I have been back to taking naproxen and pain relief most days, it’s not bad enough to take co-codemol but 2 x 500mgs of
paracetamol
isn’t getting rid of it either. I ran out of blood cards so called rheumy nurse who also did a review.

What Long Term Pain Killers do you use?
My doctor is trying to take me off cocodamol and giving me
paracetamol
as it’s not long term. I keep informing them that
paracetamol
is not going to help and I would just be in so muhc pain. What other medications do you guys use to manage flare ups.
