Palbociclib

I have been on palbociclib and letrozole for 3.5 years. For the last 6 weeks I have experienced very dry soles of my feet that are painful in places. Anyone experience this too? I didn't think this medication had these side effects. Fay

I’m on letrozole and palbociclib. With 12 weekly Xgeva. Have only been on it for 4 months.

Since then, I have had eleven different treatments (Letrozole, Palbociclib, Fulvestrant, Capecitabine, Eribulin, Navelbine, etc.) and none of them worked more than a year. Two years after genetic testing, they suddenly informed me I am BRCA1 mutation.

Eleven months later, she switched to Palbociclib plus Fulvestrant due to progression. Another eleven months, switched to Capecitabine. Every two to three months she ordered CAT scan to restating. Since I had some lumps on chest wall, it’s also very easy to distinguish if I have progression or not.

I’ll post sometime later (long post) an update on my wife’s treatment, but unfortunately she had to stop palbociclib after 29 months and is now on Afinitor.

I have progression in my liver after being on Palbociclib and Letrozole for over two years. Xeloda has been suggested but I'm worried the side effects will make it impossible for me to care for my husband who has advanced dementia.

Hi I would like to know if anyone who uses the palbociclib + letrozole protocol did the fast mimicking diet to try to improve the treatment response after a small progression I apologize for my English, I'm Brazilian.

What worries me is if the neutrophils are just good enough how will I be after the next three weeks of palbociclib. ? In general I'm feeling a bit flat and struggling to regain my zest for life!

Bone marrow infiltration and bone mets, low haemoglobin and can’t keep having transfusions….have to choose one (have been on palbociclib) and on nothing for over 6 months. Thank you for any suggestions xx

Alongwith that she is on Femara 2.5 & Palbociclib 125mg. She has completed 2 cycles of Palbociclib. In both cycles her wbc, rbc & hemoglobin all are just too low even when she's on 7days break of Palbociclib & post that cbc is done her counts don't improve at all, is that okk?

Now I don't know whether to call the oncologist, the emergency dept as it says on my palbociclib emergency card or my GP, if I get symptoms in future.

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone on Palbociclib has been doing the NHS' free lateral flow home tests? Basically wondering if they are effective given that Palbo effects the epithelial cells. Thanks!

I'm made a general enquiry to my MBC team and they say best offer is three months prescription of palbociclib if I'm stable. I may want to be spending part of my time here and part in another part of the UK. They said I could register with a local doctor and a new MBC team.

She is on Ibrance and Palbociclib. We see visible reduction of her tumor in her breast but not her MPE. She is HER2 negative. I wanted to know if MPE reduces with this medication? I read on Google the prognosis for breast cancers with MPE is 6 to 12 months, is that true ? Thank you.

After 6 months of palbociclib ibrance and anastrozole, breast tumor is at 17mm. Had a pet end of September svmax on breast were still at 7 and at 3 on bone mets. My kids are 11 and 13 years old . I'm so scared. How will they managed? I must say I still feel good physically, but for how long ?

Doctor prescribed him palbociclib 125 mg. But it's too costly. Can anybody suggest how to get it in subsidised price.

My mum has been down hill from April since we found out tumors had grown with a year on palbociclib and letrozole they switched her to tamoxifen during lockdown and further scans showed progression again this time new mets to liver and stomach!
