initial dx Oct 2011. mets dx July 2015; first line of treatment, stable/NEAD. i practice intermittent fasting. one newer component of the 'well being plan' for me, is the use of ProLon quarterly, for autophagy, which is approved by the breast onc.

Can you tell me what ProLon is and how it helps? Have not heard of that. Thank you.

Yes,I 100% agree with hcrojan. Valter Longo makes all the sense to me! Yes, I did the fasting mimicking diet before my first round of taxol. Of course, I have no way of knowing how it helped but it makes sense when you read his book.

Hi there,I started intermittent fasting after I gained weight...feeling sorry for myself and eating and drinking too much.

It really helped me.

My pablociclib and letrozole mix have stopped working after 2.5 years.

I am restarting IF as from today. I really do think it helps...but I let myself slip and get into a comfy place. So today I start to be mindful.

All the best to you.

Recuerdos, Mary
