Ablation yesterday. All good so far.
One thing maybe which was a bit of an eyeopener, they said that with my svt the ablation was near my AV node and there was maybe a 1% chance that I would need a
pacemaker
.

CRT Pacemaker
My husband’s cardiologist wants to replace his existing
pacemaker
with a CRT version. He is due to have an MRI next month and has been told that his existing
pacemaker
will be put into ‘safe mode’, during the MRI. Has anyone else gone through this procedure?

AF to CHF to Hospice
Before the
pacemaker
, her heart was going down to 35 beats per minute and she was passing out. If it weren’t for the PM, she probably would have passed in her sleep one night. So now, we are looking at a possible new
pacemaker
or not. The PM won’t cure her chf or a fib. But that’s our story.

AV Node Ablation with pacemaker
My doctor told me he would not do another regular ablation or cardioversion , I had to have an AV ablation with a
pacemaker
and be permanently on blood thinner. I'm meeting with my doctor in a few weeks to go over the procedure and would love some feedback.

Great South Run version 6 and a very long post warning ⚠️
We almost caught up with the 2hr 5 min
pacemaker
but decided we would need to slow if we wanted to complete the 10 miles.

Utter Confusion!
The other is a appt for a
pacemaker
to be fitted from the EP. I have had no discussions about this and have no clue what it involves.

Be Well Be Strong Be Positive
Unfortunately it's back, heading for my 3

Transplant eligibility with CHF and T2 diabetes
This might mean he needs a
pacemaker
. My question is for people who have/had a combo of heart/kidney/diabetes. And are older as my husband is 65. Any experience with transplant eligibility with these all together or does it look like dialysis is the only route?

Electromagnetism and AF?
I have a
pacemaker
. Might that have been affected by radio waves? Might a natural
pacemaker
be affected similarly? Or could the whole incident be psychological brought on by fear? I am of course aware of possible interference to pacemakers by certain electrical circuitry.

Pericardium removed
I recently had a laser lead extraction operation because my right ventricle
pacemaker
lead (in place for 11 years) had moved. It had perforated my heart wall and could be seen on a scan “poking out of your heart” as the Cardiologist cheerfully told me on the phone.

Latest good news on COPD
Although my Spiro test, Which was done before my
pacemaker
op. Said FEVI 1 of 39%. Which is severe obstruction, Today i am not showing any signs to warrant that reading. But said thats what they have to take it as for medical record reasons. But told me i dont need my steroid inhaler Ellipta 92/22.

CRT-D “Under the muscle”
Hi, I’m due to have a
pacemaker
under the muscle as I am apparently too skinny to have it in the usual place. Can anyone tell me how this affects recovery time? I’m a teacher at a secondary school and would like to know when I can go back to work.
