CRT Pacemaker

My husband’s cardiologist wants to replace his existing pacemaker with a CRT version.

He is due to have an MRI next month and has been told that his existing pacemaker will be put into ‘safe mode’, during the MRI.

Has anyone else gone through this procedure?

Remember its an amazing bit of kit. It monitors the hearts performance and can be configured to your lifestyle. In my case they didn't get it 100% correct on day one but it has been tweaked as I have got stronger and I expect it will be tweaked in the future - make the best of it!
