Pacemaker Monitoring
Just an update - and thanks to @Fantasyfanuk for the advice! My PM is now monitored via an app on my smartphone so no need to go into the hospital providing all the data is satisfactory of course. I am blown away by the inventiveness and the technology and that it was such an easy process. To anyone

Post Pacemaker pain
Had a dual lead a
pacemaker
fitted 7 days ago as I have occasional brachycardia plus Paroxismal AF. Cardiologist wants the
Pacemaker
to control the heat rate (sometimes as low as 35bpm) so he can increase Bisoprolol and prescribe Flecainide to deal with the fast bits.

Pacemaker Check
Further to my replies on various recent threads re:
Pacemaker
Checks - today I received letter cancelling my planned appointment in a few weeks time and rearranging for Jan 2021 but also offering me a home monitor meaning that I wouldn’t need to go to the hospital.

New Pacemaker 👍🏻
I became a 2 time stroke survivor at 31 years old, I have a internal loop recorder fitted and at 34, I've recently had a
pacemaker
fitted due to an underperforming heart. Is there anybody else similar to my age who has had a
pacemaker
fitted??

Consolidation run 9. Somewhat later than planned.
when I suddenly realised that my
pacemaker
had started walking, suspect she must be doing C25K and had got to a "walky bit". If that was you, and you are on this forum, apologies from the sweaty middle aged bloke in the orange shirt who was about 6 feet off running straight into you!

Some information for you
Hello again, pleased to say I had a replacement
pacemaker
installed last Wednesday , all went well thankfully, but why do they have the operating theatre so cold, I was shaking like a leaf and really uncomfortable.

Mobitz Type ii Questions
However, all of the research I can find on Mobitz ii block suggests that a
pacemaker
is usually fitted due to risk of progression to complete heart block, and that the prognosis is “generally poor” for individuals left untreated.

Started B&R Treatment last week.
In June 2020 I underwent placement of a
pacemaker
/defibrillator for 3rd degree heart block/heart failure. Treatment: started 9/23/20 on Bendamustine only. (next treatment will consist of both B & R later this month) Plan is for B&R for 4 months with f/u PET and other tests to determine response.

What a difference a year makes!
I had had a
pacemaker
fitted in the April and by July I was sporting a clot that went from the
pacemaker
up to my collarbone, along it and down my arm, back up to my armpit and my neck into my head!

Do you know when you're having afib?
I also have a
Pacemaker
for bradycardia; it keeps track of any afib episodes, and I've had none since the ablation. The question is whether I should stay on the Xeralto, blood thinner to counter blood clots in case the afib returns.

I've been thinking about my PCa and have some questions - would be glad for any thought or input
There was no vascular or valve indications of why, and ended up with a
pacemaker
in May 2019.
Question: Did the Lupron cause this side effect?
I have tried to find some writing/info on this issue and have come up pretty short.
