Pacemaker
Would be interested to hear if anyone is living with a biventricular
pacemaker
as this may be an option for my heart failure.

CRT pacemaker
Am I likely to need the medication after the
pacemaker
is fitted? Would appreciate advice from anyone who has a CRT one. Feeling pretty low as unable to do much exercise due to hip pain - would love to go for a long walk!

Pacemaker travel question
I had a
pacemaker
implanted last November, and everything seems to be going fine. It has eliminated low H/R issues/pauses and helped minimize Afib episodes. However, I am set for my first international trip, leaving tomorrow for a week in Amsterdam.

ya Gotta Shop Around
This resulted in me needing a
pacemaker
implant. I turn 70 this summer, and I'm pleased to report not only am I in normal rhythm, but the
pacemaker
has me ticking along in the 50's HR just fine....but quite the journey to get to here!

thanks for advice as always
after posting here a few days ago, they checked my uncles echo and
pacemaker
. They don’t think it’s moved, they’ve said could be his new valves bedding in and can take nearly a year for everything to heal properly.

Second degree AV block
Doctor told me I may need to have a
pacemaker
but could not give me much more information and I have been referred to a cardiologist. I am a 40 year old male, very active and still play sports competitively so was a bit shocked that something is wrong.

Ablation for atrial flutter - advice?
(I had a
pacemaker
fitted for sinus node dysfunction in September 2021; all very rushed and unplanned, and I'm also - relatively, for the condition - young, early 40s.)

pacemaker is over a week old
been over a week since
pacemaker
was fitted First few days uncomfortable I didn’t take paracetamol as my logic was if it hurts I’ll be less inclined to lift my arm above my head Day four pain eased off dramatically Still struggled with sleep position and found myself in knowingly with my left arm

pacemaker and air pods
Does anyone have any experience with Apple Air Pods and their
pacemaker
. I’m going to have valve replacement surgery and my daughter thought they would be good for me.

She is now in cardiology ward but doctors dismissing
pacemaker
checks as feb pacing check looked good. Anyone else have experience of
pacemaker
coming to end of life and causing adverse symptoms?

Extremely traumatic CRT Pacemaker operation
Hi all On Friday I had a Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy
Pacemaker
fitted under local anaesthetic. I can safely say that it was 2 of the most traumatic hours of my life and at 64 I’ve had a fair few.
