Pacemaker site/fluids?

Awaiting results of CT scan. 10 months of expressing my concern over swelling at PM site, my surgeons response? " Nothing further to explore, it's not normal, but I'm not concerned". I said "if it were on your chest? I wouldn't be concerned either".

She finally ordered an ultasound which showed unknown fluid collected at site which obstructed view of pacemaker.

The swelling is about 3/4 size of tennis ball.

Should have an answer by Monday.

Has anyone else experienced this?

No but I have very visible hard cables showing.
