Have been following posts, have studied Mayo Clinic, been back to rlshelp.org Have read Dr Earlys research , follow several Rls groups . I have done the DAs (unfortunately) The side effects of Gabapentin and Pregabalin far out way the benefits. Iron is good, I get infusions as needed. I use Magnesium

Dr Glen Z brooks NYC
Glen said it’s all political and even during and post surgery a lot of surgeons will not prescribe
opioids
for pain relief . I was listening to a doctor the other day that said Suboxone with Naloxone in the low dose we require will not cause any complications with other
opioids
and surgery.

New FDA approved genetic test to predict the chance of opioid addiction
We all know that with the low dose
opioids
for RLS that there is almost no risk and yet I can see RLS patients being denied these drugs when they need them.

Belbuca and post surgical pain.
I also have tried several
opioids
in the past. I have taken Belbuca for the past several years. I am facing hip replacement surgery in a couple of months. I am concerned about post surgical pain since my understanding is that I will not be able to take any
opioids
post op.

Opioids for pramipexole withdrawal – DAWS
I’ve noticed a lot of people are using
opioids
to treat pramipexole withdrawal. How do you ultimately get off the opioid?

Massachusetts Opioid Register
Hopefully, this information will help persuade health authorities and Governments that low dose
opioids
are safe, highly effective and are not causing addiction or tolerance.

USA RLS trial Dr Brian Koo
This would explain why low dose
opioids
work so well for RLS patients. I emailed Dr Brian Koo at Yale, and he confirmed the Trial is only available to US residents near the trial sites.

Which treatment after dopamine agonist withdrawal?
Or do DAs do permanent damages to the brain, leading to much more severe RLS that can only be treated with strong
opioids
like methadone? Is there any study that has demonstrated permanent brain damages from DAs? Thanks

Finally on opioids and it's not working
So after da augmentation, no results with gabapentin and two unsuccessful iron infusions I finally got a doctor to give me Tramadol. I'm aware buprenorphine is a better option and I'm pushing for that, but meanwhile, the 50mg of Tramadol is not doing anything. How long should I wait to increase the dose

Because I take Belbuca, I will not be able to use
opioids
post-op. Anti nausea meds were listed as causing some of the symptoms. Is Zofran ok?
