Recent studies have shown that beta endorphins, the body's natural opioid hormone, is decreased in RLS patients. This would explain why low dose opioids work so well for RLS patients.

I emailed Dr Brian Koo at Yale, and he confirmed the Trial is only available to US residents near the trial sites.

Thanks Jools.

Perhaps that explains why low dose naltrexone (LDN) helps some. LDN works by boosting levels of endorphins, including beta endorphins.

Now all we have to do is get the UK medical Profession to learn the basics a d read the research. And prescribe Opioids.
