Recent studies have shown that beta endorphins, the body's natural opioid hormone, is decreased in RLS patients. This would explain why low dose opioids work so well for RLS patients.
I emailed Dr Brian Koo at Yale, and he confirmed the Trial is only available to US residents near the trial sites.
