Discussion about treatment options in India
Hearing such stories, I want to reach out to members here to ask them about providers in India up to date with the most appropriate treatments and who have the capacity to prescribe
opioids
if necessary. Who are also cautious about prescribing dopamine agonists. Would appreciate any leads/advice!

Finally on opioids and it's not working
So after da augmentation, no results with gabapentin and two unsuccessful iron infusions I finally got a doctor to give me Tramadol. I'm aware buprenorphine is a better option and I'm pushing for that, but meanwhile, the 50mg of Tramadol is not doing anything. How long should I wait to increase the dose

Have been following posts, have studied Mayo Clinic, been back to rlshelp.org Have read Dr Earlys research , follow several Rls groups . I have done the DAs (unfortunately) The side effects of Gabapentin and Pregabalin far out way the benefits. Iron is good, I get infusions as needed. I use Magnesium

Which treatment after dopamine agonist withdrawal?
Or do DAs do permanent damages to the brain, leading to much more severe RLS that can only be treated with strong
opioids
like methadone? Is there any study that has demonstrated permanent brain damages from DAs? Thanks

buprenorphine & LDN
So I assume anyone getting results from LDN for RLS must not be taking it with
opioids
. Sorry if I panicked anyone with my earlier post about augmentation….

What do I do now?
Before being put on Oxycodone I have been on lots of other tablets but none worked that's why I was put on
opioids
. My wife and I watched the TV series "DOPESICK", which frightened us both. If I come off oxycodone what do I replace it with?

For those taking methadone, do you think it affects your sleep quality?
It’s well-known that
opioids
impair sleep architecture, cutting into slow wave sleep in particular. So not a surprise.

How to safely start Fentanyl patch when already on opioids?
I just don’t want to be taking the normal Dilaudid pill dosage and then boom - suddenly the patch kicks in and I’m unknowingly OD’ing on
opioids
or something. Anyone have experience with this or insight into how to do this in the best and safest way? thanks 🌸

Because I take Belbuca, I will not be able to use
opioids
post-op. Anti nausea meds were listed as causing some of the symptoms. Is Zofran ok?

I’ve tried to manage Chronic pain for 18yrs, I’ve sparred with my GP’S regarding
opioids
and been referred to the pain management team who. Immediately treated my RLS with pregablin morning and night and for the most part it’s v successful.

Safe to take Gabapentin with Obstructive Sleep Apnea?
My understanding is that
opioids
all cause it and well, basically any drugs to treat PLMD. Thanks for reading and for any guidance. Wish you all well.

Opioids for pramipexole withdrawal – DAWS
I’ve noticed a lot of people are using
opioids
to treat pramipexole withdrawal. How do you ultimately get off the opioid?

Horizant and Gabapentin
She does not prescribe
opioids
and has only one RLS patient who is on
opioids
. She believes that if that is necessary, one should go to a pain management doctor.

TOMAC treatment for RLS
Opioids
are then required. But TOMAC therapy seems to work for those that have been on DAs before in the same way as for those that have not taken DAs. Therapulse is the main device available in the UK using similar technology.
