Pregabalin + Ropinirole or Opioids
After a recent post from Amrob explaining that they add 0.125mg or 0.25mg Clonazepam to 300 mg Pregabalin when the Pregabalin does not cut ... I do the same with Ropinirole, adding 0.125mg nightly to 300 mg Pregabalin, because I will never get to sleep otherwise ..... I wonder what the thoughts are

Were you prescribed
opioids
for a short period of time? - when were you able to drive again? - when were you able to cook a meal from scratch for yourself, how many weeks post operation? I know we’re all different but I look forward to hearing from your experiences and tips.

Anyone interested in tackling RLS with me in 2023?
Most recently iron infusions have not improved my symptoms and even
opioids
are not working any longer. I am finally at the end of the road as far as treatments go. Now it’s up to me to try and get some control over this demon on my own through diet. I am not the healthiest of eaters.

Frustration with Pregabalin
Walker at Queen Square for RLS is not until February next year, so moving to
opioids
is not an option until then.

Attn US RLS Opioid patients
By now you have likely heard that new guidelines on prescribing
opioids
have been released. Unfortunately, RLS was not considered in the update. This change will fuel the RLS Foundation’s advocacy work to ensure a carve-out for RLS in the future.

Which iron supplement is the best and what dose?
But had a blood test this morning and my ferritin levels are 48ug/L, serum iron is 14.1 and serum TIBC 53.7 and the transferring sat index 26% When I talked to my doctor last week, having sent her 5 articles and a video about the new iron approach to RLS, she would not agree to giving me
opioids

Help from those taking Methadone
My understanding is that if you take methadone other
opioids
won’t work for pain. Is this correct?? If that is true, if I go back to oxycodone for RLS wouldn’t that solve the problem? I just don’t know. I have to have something for pain after this procedure.

Shout at the Moon
I then asked him about my
opioids
and the suggested daily dosage to maintain treatment. I'm taking 10mg Slow release twice daily, I'm given 15mg immediate release, but he asked me not to take them regularly, just every few weeks.

Problems in U.S.A. Refilling Opioids/other controlled substances
They’ve tightened up their policies re:
opioids
so much, it’s putting patients at risk. Last month, I submitted refill requests every day for 3 days prior (what I’ve always done) but got the message “ this is an early refill request & what’s the reason for the early refill?”

Gabapentin
Sue, my GP is away on maternity leave so I cannot yet talk to him about opioids. In the meantime would you recommend I up my dose of 2,100mg gabapentin to slightly higher, doing the 100mg at a time to see if that brings me some relief?

Insomnia from Temgesic - Drug Combination ?
I have tried most of the drugs available for RLS over the years- including different
opioids
. I have been taking .200mc Temgesic with 0.25 Zanax every night for over a year. This has been fairly successful- usually having one or two RLS episodes a night and some insomnia.

osteoporosis pain medication
The gp offered me codeine morphine etc but I can’t touch those or ibuprofen style medicine so I was wondering if anyone has been prescribed alternatives to
opioids
and I do not get on with tramadol either and haven’t tolerated never pain meds so I’m worried there isn’t much left.

Insomnia add CBD oil
CBD oil acts on different receptors than
Opioids
and THC . If you are taking low dose CBD with THC or medical marijuana and you still suffer insomnia add extra pure CBD oil.

Restless legs destroyed my life.
Hi after an excruciating withdrawal from
opioids
and methadone I thought my life was just beginning, however I then started suffering with rls I thought it was just part of the withdrawals and would pass in time.
