Sulfasalazine side effects? UC and Enteropathic Arthritis
I've had UC since 1990 well controlled on
Olsalazine
which is now unavailable hence the move to Sulfasalazine. Enteropathic Arthritis since May 2015, on prednisolone 10mg until 2 September when reduced to 7.5mg, as full dose of 2gm Sulfasalazine finally achieved in August.

Pain in side
Hi I've been diagnosed with UC. I'm on azathioprine and mesalazine. I still get a pain on my left side above my hip. Does this mean it's still inflamed? Should the tablets help to stop this? I'm still losing blood when going to the toilet as well. Thanks.

Does anyone else have so many problems?
Hi all! This might be a long one, but bare with me because I could really do with some feedback. I was diagnosed with Colitis in 2009 after multiple hospitalisations with amoebic dysentery when I was living in South East Asia. That was all horrible for a while, but it came under control after hospitalisation
