Cyclic high dose testosterone + Nubeqa
I've been on

Nubeqa
and after reading about cyclic testosterone treatment I discussed it with my MO.

PSA BIG INCREASE!!!
He is starting the process of looking for a affordable drug, xtandi, erleada or
nubeqa
. My co-pay for theses drugs is over $3000/month. I emailed my MO at Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC, we have a phone appointment on June 7th. His approach is to find the PC and treat it.

Nubeqa and LDH level was high now normal
OK,I have been on
Nubeqa
10 months Continuing on Lupron monthly. My choice to do monthly. Anyway my LDH level has been high, as high as 285. But yesterday it was 213 - normal. Any ideas on what this might mean?

30 months with PCA - experiences with ADT, Docetaxel, Xtandi / Nubeqa, Provenge and experimental immunotherapy trial.
As an alternative the MO instead put him on
NUBEQA
(darolutamide). Thankfully he did not have a reaction to this medication and his PSA had an almost immediate response. I am timidly happy to report that as of March 2021 (over a year since starting
Nubeqa
) his PSA has been undetectable.

Is Nubeqa a suitable substitute for Zytiga?
My MO wants to start me on
Nubeqa
in addition to my Orgovyx regimen. He reasons that
Nubeqa
has fewer cardiac side effects, which is a concern for me. I went to the
Nubeqa
site and it says that it is for castrate-resistant, non-metastatic PCa. What do you all think?

Nubequa Failing?
PSA was slowly going down but in March I was in the hospital for 12 days and was not able to take
Nubeqa
. My PSA inched back up a bit. Next PSA was down, and I thought it was working then my next PSA was up slightly. I am still on Eligard 3-month shots.

Nubeqa or Zytiga, which should come first?
Would it be better to add
Nubeqa
rather than Zytiga? Should one hold off on either of these to use down the road? Can one stop working and then you switch to another and if so is there a better order of progression?

PSMA PET scan results
We also added
Nubeqa
to my Orgovyx treatments 8 days ago. Yesterday, my PSA was at 0.4. It is working. I am also scheduled for radiation on the new active cancer. Not exactly "win-win", but I will take it.

PYLARIFY diagnostic could not find prostate cancer cells, then a surprise!
Doctor also mentioned starting
NUBEQA
if the rate of PSA doubling accelerates. I am 71 years old and in otherwise good health, but still wonder about my life expectancy. Someone please share their honest opinion about my life expectancy based on your experience or that of a loved one or friend.

Micro-Mets Next Steps
I see my oncologist in a few days, and if Medicare will cover it, I am thinking I’ll be going on degarelix (Firmagon) supplemented by darolutamide (
Nubeqa
), both chosen because of past cardiac concerns (presumably heart and brain-safer than Lupron and Apalutamide).

PSA creeping up to 2.8 over the course eight months, next step?
His oncologist suggested
Nubeqa
coupled with his ADT. What do you guys think of that suggestion? What does the community think the next best step is? I think Doctaxel again since it was proven so successful. I appreciate your valuable insights! Love and health, Karyn

Nubeqa monotherapy experiment coming to end
Sadly it looks like after roughly 9 months of
Nubeqa
as a monotherapy, the
Nubeqa
alone is not going to keep PSA at bay. PSA has steadily crept up from a low of .9 to 2.6 today.

Ins. help please
He is now going on
Nubeqa
and it's expensive. What do you have that pays for cancer meds? Looking at supplements but don't think they include meds.

Latest from BATman Denmeade
− BAT should not be combined with Zytiga, Xtandi, Erleada, or
Nubeqa
(or with taxane chemotherapy).

Nubeqa monotherapy update
It is about 6 months in to my experiment with
Nubeqa
monotherapy, and so far, so good. Latest PSA saw a slight increase from .90 to 1.0, but the thinking is that this may be the PSA range I settle into while on
Nubeqa
, and as long as it holds there, all is good.
