Hi Everyone, This site has been a great comfort and source of knowledge for me. I'm travelling down a difficult road. I've had a brain tumour/brain surgery. My mother has severe dementia. My father was diagnosed with PC in 2018. He had prostate removed in 2019, but cancer had already spread outside prostate

Dad has brain cancer, heart issues, and now PSA has increased. Concerned about medication complications..
Hello friends! It's been a long time since I've posted. It's hard to keep up with my dad's health on my end.. we've had so many close calls that his prostate cancer has felt like a bump on the head compared to all the rest of his concerns! So, to bring everyone up to speed as quickly as I can, dad

Rehab
Reading through many posts of those who’ve suffered a TBI rehab is frequently mentioned. I was offered no rehab or OT and had to self-refer to Headway. I have no fine motor skills in my left hand since brain surgery and it is much weaker than my right. Thankfully I have a wonderful partner who is so

I'm new here and I need help.
I've had brain cancer twice. My last brain surgery was 5 years ago and last chemo 3. Since then, I have lost my over 7 year relation due to the cancer, my independence, identity, financial stability. All my grandparents passed during the beginning of the pandemic and my dad died 1 month ago. I'm struggling

Edinburgh Festival Time
The Edinburgh Festival is back and the town has been taken over by angry comedians and budding thespians. Headcase is a play running until 28 August about the actor Kristin Mcilquham who's father had a brain hemorrhage. There's laughs and tears. I recommend it. https://www.pleasance.co.uk/event
