Snowed in with Asthma flare up.
My asthma with its amazingly good timing as always has decided to flare up badly now that I am stuck at home behind half a mile of snowdrifts between me and the car. The road to the doctors or to hospital is blocked with drifts in both directions. I’m ok for now, had a really rough night sat up not

Hello I'm a brittle asthmatic and I've been hospital and needed more nebulisers this last year than ever before and I am now starting to question whether a home neb would be any good? Whether you use one or not please give me your opinion on using them at home Thx in advance for your advice x

Nebuliser for Emphysema
I have Emphysema and my Doctor and Consultant have mentioned do I have a nebuliser. I don't have one so told to take 4 puffs off Ventolin before II get up. I have seen many different nebulisers for sale anyone recommend any. Also can you get one from NHS for free? What do I put in nebuliser?

Anyone else struggling
I love the snow because it means I don't have to go to college but it hasn't been good on my lungs though I'm a brittle asthmatic and the dramatic changes in the weather has definitely made this week hard I had paramedics out last night for nebuliser and wasn't taken to hospital because I didn't feel

Has anyone seen GMB?
I've just been watching Good Morning Britain and there was a really sad story of a little girl who was sent home by her GP because she was a few minutes late to an emergency appointment and she died. It's ridiculous she was obviously needing to be seen A couple of weeks ago I went to the GP after

Went to er last nite.
I had a racing heart and sob after doing duo nebs and could barely talk. The oxygen in the ambulance helped and calmed it down a lot. My chest xray and ct scan were fine. The er doctor just thought tachycardia and that it was tachycardia and albuterol that made it go out of control. However, i read

Travel help (taking meds to US)
Hi, I’ve ducked in looking for advice regarding taking some medication to Florida (changing in Texas en route). My 10 yo has fairly severe CF, and as there’s no community on here just for that, I figured you lovely people on the BLF might be the best people to ask. Although I used to be a seasoned traveller

Very distressed
I started to get a cold last week and didn't go to work on Friday, self medicated with the normal paracetamol, warm drinks, plenty of fluid and rest. I began to feel a little better over the weekend but still not well enough to go to work on Monday so took myself off to the med centre at 8am. GP was
