Portable nebuliser

Hi I'm traveling to Italy next month and am looking to buy a portable nebuliser any recommendations would be very much appreciated thanks

Hi

I have the omron U22. I really like it. The batteries last well, it is easy to use and easy to clean. It is quiet and small. It takes a little longer compared to my other stay at home nebuliser but not too long.

Have a great time in Italy xxx

I also have the Omron Micro Air U22. TBO, I have found it a bit temperamental. This is the third model I have had in 2.5 years. When it works, it works very well (not as quick as large mains compressor nebuliser, but not too far behind) but when it doesn't work, its very frustrating. The company have been really good about replacement / repair, however. Agree with Emily-G that battery life is good.

The mesh screens on the U22 (which are replaceable) are quite expensive (£30-£50) and also I have heard it said that the Micro Air is not too good for nebulising steroids, but I have no personal experience with this.

I am looking into getting the Philips Respironics GO when funds permit, as I have read some good reviews on that one and it seems to have better reports re: reliability and speed of nabbing. There is also a really tiny model called the Med Fit Micro Neb which seems very attractive in terms of its size / portability, and also price, but I've never heard any reviews or info about how that model performs.

I would recommend you by from a reputable source like Evergreen, where you can discuss your needs and get advice about various models and also so that if you run into any probs, you have good customer service.

Speak to evergreen nebulizers 01942 701210 or website I have a omron but plug in not batteries has been everywhere with me use adapter for abroad. Cost about £70 but if disabled get vat off. 😊

I have the Pari Boy mobile nebuliser, I find it very good

Omron all the way.... they are great! Mine has flown to the Falklands and Ascension twice....

Oh and Italy too...
