NDT dosing confusion, how to make it work?
Hi All, Trying to understand the
NDT
dosing and if it's working for me. They say 1 grain of Erfa is about 100 McG of levo. However, 1 grain only gives you 38 McG of T4. So if I was on 88 McG of levo before
NDT
and I now take 1 grain of
NDT
instead, I only get 38 McG of T4?

Feeling very unwell - do my blood results explain why? What to do next?
Hi Mid August My
NDT
was increased from 2.5 to 3 grains. By the last week in September I began to feel what I describe as a 'bit off' , these feelings come and go. My partner had covid , I tested negative a couple of times.

Small dose of levothyroxine - good or bad?
I did feel even better on
NDT
, but haven't taken that for a few years. I've recently been diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency (AI), believed caused by the steroid in my asthma inhaler.

Morning? or Bedtime?
But naturally, because I like to experiment in hopes of feeling better, I decided to switch to taking my
NDT
around 10 pm, as I'm climbing into bed (at least 2 hrs after eating anything). This was 2 weeks ago, and so far I have to report that I DO feel better. I haven't needed a nap after lunch.

T3 / NDT
Hi - I'm 39 and have had hashimotos / under active thyroid for 10+ years. I have suffered from 3 miscarriages recently + had 2 poor quality / outcome IVF egg retrievals. I'm on 100mg of levothyroxine, TSH is in range (around 2) but T3 is really at the bottom of the range. I don't think I'm converting

Help with timing, drinks etc for MonitorMyHealth Test
I take
NDT
1 grain around breakfast time, so depending on when I take a blood test, I would not have taken any for around 24 hours. Is this right? Thank you very much.

Is it the NDT (Thailand)
Have taken 2.5 grains
NDT
for many years. Recently started suffering from burning feet pads and tongue swelling late evening. Have noticed that the batch number for the
NDT
I currently take was hi-lighted for some reason on a facebook page but cannot find the page and reason why.

The condition after 2.5 years on NDT
I'm taking
NDT
for 2.5 years, take 2.375 tablets divided into 4 times in a day. I was taking only thyroxine during 24 years and the biggest dose was 125 mcg. Using
NDT
I feel much better, I lost 10 kg. But what bothers, that looks like I have not enough fat, especially in the upper body.

Switching to NDT or adding T3?
As I seem no longer to be able to get any medication changes from the NHS I'm considering either switching to
NDT
(sourced privately) or adding in T3 (also sourced privately).

NDT Named Patient basis
I'm just seeking an update: Is
NDT
still only prescribed on NHS on a named patient basis? I was listening to the interview of Lynn last year and there was talk this may no longer be required. Am thinking of moving GP surgeries as its barely functioning but don't want to jinx my NHS
NDT
script.

How long does it take for NDT Thyroid-S to leave your system?
I had my thyroid fully removed in 2008 & I'm on T3 only 20mcg 3 X day.A few months ago I swapped to
NDT
Thyroid-S & I've stopped taking my T3. I feel better than I've felt in years. My question is how long does it take for
NDT
Thyroid-S to leave your system? Thank You

Blood Test Results! Can Anyone Interpret?
Recently I've found I feel a lot better on
NDT
Only. Six weeks ago I posted asking how long it takes to get
NDT
out of my system because I need my GP annual blood test to show I'm on T3 only. I got so much helpful advice. Thank You. Anyway. The max to get
NDT
out of my system was 6 weeks.

I’m currently on 2.5 grains of
NDT
, slowly upped from 50mg of thyroxine since going to a private thyroid clinic. My symptoms of cold and tiredness have completely resolved but my digestive issues remain.
