I’m currently taking approximately 100mcg Levo does this equate to 1 grain of NDT? Thanks 🙏

Hey there again - I think?

I don't think there is a direct comparisons as these are totally different products :

The T4 takes around 6-8 weeks to fully leave your body so in that time frame you start NDT low and slow with 1/4 increments - I went weekly - some suggest fortnightly :

Take bench readings before you start of T3 and T4 and ensure your core strength vitamins and minerals are up and maintained at optimal :

I switched from 125 mcg one day to 1/4 NDT the following day - same rules as T4 - on an empty stomach etc.and wait to eat and drink about an hour for optimal absorption.

I monitored myself on blood pressure, pulse and body temperature am and pm - and whilst the first 2 remained constant I tracked my temperature moving up from 35.4 to 36.6 where it is today some 5/6 years later.

If you get to 2 grains - with some relief of symptoms - stay on this dose for 6-8 weeks letting it settle and bed in and then run a blood test to see whats going on - and track on your T3 -

If happy but looking for more improvement starting building up again from 2 in 1/4 grains :

There comes a week when you don't feel as goodas the week previous - edgey, nervous just not right and or comfortable in your skin -

so drop back down to the previous weeks dose and stay there for 6-8 weeks allowing the NDT to bed in and settle - and then run a blood test to check again where your T3 is as this is likely your best dose on NDT at this point in time.

I seem to only need 1 + 1/2 grains and I don't split my dose - some do -

My T3 and T4 have now reversed places and I run with a T3 at around 90/110 % through its range with a T4 coming in at 25/30% through it's range - 10-12 hours from NDT dose.

Hope that makes sense :
