Compression fracture on T 10
My recent Whole body scan and CT scan for PCa ( diagnosed in 2016 with T3N0M1, after which I had radiation, chemotherapy and have been on hormone therapy since), showed a compression fracture on my T10 where I had SBRT radiation 2 years ago. My scans earlier in the year also showed a small fracture

Some hopeful test news:šš»
My son had a PSA of 20 just 3 mo after RRP last October 24th. Prior to that we had no idea from his test results that the PC was outside of the prostate. It had gone to his pelvic lymph nodes plus heās tertiary five. Heās been on generic Zytiga and prednisone and Lupron and finished six weeks of IMRT

More on statins
I've actually been tolerating ADT quite well over the past year but beginning in January I started feeling tightness in chest, low endurance, out of breath, heavy fatigue, attributing all to Xtandi...Then in May I fainted after getting up from the couch so the old lady took me to the ER...I had an emergency

Please can you advise me on my calculations to switch NDT to Levo
If I currently take
NDT
1 grain in split doses 7.30am and 3.30pm , do I take 100 mcg of Levo in one dose or split it? and do I also need to add 5 - 10 mcg of T3 to match the
NDT
content in 1 grain? Is a switch over done immediately like for like?

Future after Erleada/Lupron
I met with a new MO today for a second opinion. I've been taking Erleada/Lupron for almost four years with few side effects (for which I'm grateful). I'm aware that my results have been very good and I wasn't looking for advice regarding a change in my care....I just wanted to have a second doctor

Low-dose Aspirin.
I imagine that the new aspirin study [JAMA (1)] will get a lot of media play, but I will post anyway. A previous study concluded that the only people who benefit from low-dose aspirin are those who have already experienced a cardiovascular event. For everyone else, the risks obliterate any benefit

Scaly skin on eyelid, itchy and red conjunctiva
Hi all, hope everyone is well :) I've been feeling pretty good lately, and I'm due for another blood test to determine my
NDT
dose soon. The puffiness in my eyes and face have continued to improve, and the difference is quite noticeable.

NDT multiple, tiny doses
What do you weathered
NDT
/T3 takers think about taking tiny doses of
NDT
at very regular intervals, eg. 1/4 grain every hour. update: I tried doing this this morning and I still havenāt managed to get out of bed.

Pregnant medication increase?
My T4 was within range and My TSH has been low since I stopped
NDT
and is taking time to go back to a normal reading so I'm not fussed about TSH as it has been supressed by past
NDT
meds. I'm currently on 100mcg of Levo.

Short of breath
On Orgovyx, Nubeqa and Megace for last three months. Completing 27 of 27 fractions of radiation tomorrow. I am short of breath most of the time. A walk up a flight of stairs leaves me gasping. I continue to workout including running (slower and shorter since radiation started), hiking and weights

If immediately stopping after two years taking Orgovyx how long before testosterone begins to rise?
Iāve heard that testosterone returns quicker if using Orgovyx compared to Lupron. But I also heard that the longer on any ADT the longer the recovery. Or maybe testosterone never recovers? What do you guys think question

Just had Psma-pet scan... Confused
My initial Axium pet scan nearly 2 years ago showed "innumerable" mets throughout musculoskeletal system, from head to knees... Understandably, my PSA at the time was 480. After 1 year on ADT and 8 months of Xtandi another Axium showed mets in calvarial region (skull), neck and clavicle no longer present

Finding Support Groups
I am 84 and diagnosed with PCa in 2014. I had a multi-specialty work up Sibley Hospital in Washington DC (Johns Hopkins staffed clinic). No mets found. I was given 1 option, External beam; 70 Gray treatment went smoothly with no SE. I was given one injection of Lupron prior to the radiation. PSA
