How I beat Parkinson’s
My T cell lymphoma. PTCL is potentially curable with chemotherapy. The median progression free survival (PFS) following CHOP chemotherapy is 12 to 14 months. Approximately 20 to 30% of patients will be alive, and disease free, 5 years after the completion of treatment.

I said since they didn't make a 250 mg capsule I needed 2 prescriptions, one for 225 mg and one for 25 mg. He wrote back he was confused. Did I want

I had both repaired in 2018 but feel that I am back to square one, the physio says that I have some nerve damage to the pelvic floor and the exercises aren’t really working. Ferritin/Folacin confusion
Latest blood test results. Ferritin 155ug//L (Range 13 - 150) Folate 7.4 ug/L (Range over 2.9) I take Folacin 400 ug but is this Folate or Ferritin or neither? Feeling totally dumb so would be grateful for any words of wisdom from the good members here. Thank you.

How much reduction in absorption of gabapentin is there if one takes more than 600 mg?
I have been taking 1400 mg gabapentin divided into 700 mg at 7:15 and 700 mg at 9:15, going to bed at 10:15. I increased this to 1500 mg on July 5th, with 700 mg at 7:15 and 800 mg at 9:15, but last night had restless legs. I know I should switch to pregabalin but it is expensive. I know that in taking

Gene Therapy Success With Ties to Parkinson’s Disease
I posted this as a reply to Bass of Spade's optimistic post regarding gene therapy, but I think it's worthy of being the subject of a separate post. Gene Therapy Offers Long-Awaited Hope for Children with Rare, Incurable Disorder. Patients with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s May Benefit from Novel Treatment

Scared and confused by possible neuropathy
Back in February of this year I slipped on ice and fell off my porch. Shortly after I experienced a radiating pain in my left butt cheek area that comes and goes throughout the day. My neck also hurt after the fall but felt better the day after so I didn't see a doctor about it, My doctor said it sounds

My peripheral neuropathy has suddenly increased. I’m trying to not be scared but I am. I’m 46. Since my early 20’s my feet have gone numb on exercise machines. Now I’m waking up with tingling dead feeling limbs. It’s difficult to stand still like at museums for example bc I feel like I will fall

Gabapentin becoming less effective
Hi, I’ve been on Gabapentin since my RLS was diagnosed in January, and it has been working very well giving me a decent nights sleep. However, over the last month, it’s been less effective despite the fact that I’ve increased my dosage. I had been taking a few 100mg during the day, and then 400mg before

Big belly
I’m going in for an ablation on July 22 to try to alleviate premature ventricular contractions. My only concern is that I am overweight with most of that weight concentrated in my belly. If everything else is in good order do you think I have a lot to worry about?

New to Parkinson's
Was just diagnosed with early stages of PD. Dr prescribed Rasagiline 1mg to start off with, but the cost is terrible ($302.00). Have been looking into DopaBoost type products to save money and be more natural product, anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hello there! Would appreciate input..Hello there! Would appreciate input..
I'm brand new to this site. Really happy that I stumbled upon it during a search for, "Carpal Tunnel Syndrome relationship to Lupron." Not a lot of into on the subject so far. I was wondering if any of the folks on this site may have encountered this so-called rare side effect? If so, what was done

Scared to start Leflunomide
Is anyone on or taking Leflunomide? My rheumatologist has been advocating for it for over a year and given my Lupus raging worse than ever - it’s out of control- he wants me to go on it. I’m on Stelara but the COVID vaccine rendered it basically useless. And I don’t have another shot for 2 months. So
