First 3 months on combined androgen blockade...
Hello - My name is Graham Colville. I'm a 71-year-old Canadian living in Cyprus and was diagnosed in March 2002 while living in London, England. In May 2002 I had radical prostatectomy at Sloan Kettering in NY. My Gleason grade was 4 + 3 = 7 and pathology showed spread to a seminal vesicle but otherwise

Starting PSA was 5,006.4
In November 2013 I was in a Northern California emergency room with severe lower back pain at age 65. Turned out I had previously undiagnosed, widespread metastatic prostate cancer. PSA was 5,006.4, with testosterone level of 908, and Alkaline Phosphatase around 424. Nuclear medicine bone scan lighted

My Intro - Ned in St Louis
I was diagnosed at age 60, in Aug 2010, with 12 positive cores out of the 12 sampled in my biopsy! I had lost my mother to colon cancer when she was age 59, and my secret goal was to at least make it past that age. The urologist called me, very concerned with those results, the DAY AFTER my 60th birthday

Low PSA with a Gleason 8 diagnosis
I was diagnosed with prostatitis and BPH (Benign Prostate Hyperplasia) in 2001, but since my PSA level remained around 1.5 for the next seven years, my primary care physician always assumed it was simply an enlarged prostate she was feeling via the DRE (Digital Rectal Examination) at my annual physical

Zytiga and Xtandi .... what do you think about this?
Diagnosed in ‘2008 at the age of 50. Because it was in his lymph node, he went with Casodex (30 days), Lupron (2 years) and radiation (40 external beam). In ‘2012 he did Taxotere when his PSA had a one month doubling rate. Planned to do 6 months, but was stopped at four months with heavy side effects

Further ..
I was recently prescribed
Nasonex
for a sinus problem; and upon checking in detail (on a forum), I found that many people had suffered AF type symptoms whilst using this spray, which is a steroid.

I'm back, what a waste of time at the doctors and job centre!!!!!!!!
At the doctors, he would only give me nasal spray called
NASONEX
and told me to see how I go on with that. Also he said that because my 2 curves are visible, that my scoliosis is not classed as severe, sorry its the other way round.

rhinitis and montelukast
Also using a nasal spray (
nasonex
) and cetirizine, both help but are not fully controlling symptoms.

Negative results but allergic to something?! What?!!
She is on a lot of meds, montelukast, seretide 125 (4 puffs a day), ventolin (4 puffs daily), theophlynne (caffeine tabs),
nasonex
(once a day), cetirizine (twice a day). TBH, I think our asthma consultant is a bit baffled with her as we all are. On average she is poorly at least once a month.

Feeling desperate
Last Tuesday I was put on symbicort 200/6 2 puffs 4 times a day and SMART regime as well as
nasonex
as I might have rhinitis. I know it's only a week and these things take time, but I'm hoping for some words of encouragement from others that have been in my shoes.

Brittle asthma, Anaphylaxis and the royal Brompton
My current meds are; symbicort 400, atrovent inhaler, tiotropium, loratadine, montelukast,
nasonex
, and ventolin nebules 5mg 4x a day, plus more when I'm bad. On top of that I've now got epi pens too. When is this going to get better? I know it won't but it's just ruining my life.

Rivaroxaban is not for me, or was it? Aches and pains getting very bad again after 3.5 days off Rivaroxaban.
Cholesterol for the over 60s (I’m now 67): Simvastatin 40mg per day For the prevention of the re-occurrence of nasal polyps (I’ve had 2 nasal polypectomies in the last 30 years):
Nasonex
1 puff for each nostril per day.

New add on treatment Spiriva
I take seretide 250, singulair, citerizine,
nasonex
, and now I've been given spiriva as an add on once a day. I thought it was stabilising things but I had another attack on Monday. I almost got Xolair but I'm far too allergic as my ieg levels in my blood were 1400.

Advice on non-allergic rhinitis needed please.
I was prescribed a cortisteroid nasal spray (
Nasonex
) which I have been on for over three months and seems to have had little effect. he also added in anti-hystamine spray which had no effect. My consultant has said only other treatment is an operation which I don't fancy at all.
