20/20! Plus Paris centre closing 😢
GGT of 29, kidneys 91%,
myfortic
snd tacrolimus residues great. Fibroscan of 4.8. He said he gave me a 20/20. Next appointment in 3 months, 14.5 months post tx here in France. Only bad news is my tx centre is closing as they have too many in Paris area.

Research Study
My system is not taking
myfortic
very well and as such my doctor suggested a pilot study using everolimus. This is being tested as a replacement for
myfortic
and steroids. I am looking for feedback if anyone has been on this type of study.

I however, figured it out right away, since
Myfortic
made such a difference in my daily life. I felt really good about being in the study, because I felt like I was not only helping myself, but transplant recipients to come.

Diarrhea and mycophenolate
Hi, my son has Mpa from March 2017 and he takes prednisone, mycophenolate (
myfortic
) and ramipril. He's doing well apart from diarrhea caused by mycophenolate. He had to stop mmf for a week and he became almost costipated.

Enlarged red blood cells
Since I don't drink alcohol, nephrologist says its due to the
myfortic
I have been taking. I am not anemic and preliminary blood results says that Vit B-12 and folic acid are normal. Dr thinks it has to do with my bone marrow. Will have to have more tests if it continues to rise.

Good and the bad.
My main meds are
myfortic
and had 3 rituximab infusions. In the last 8 years I felt I have batteled against lupus and had to fight all the way to get answers. Biggest problem is dealing with Drs that have little or no knowledge of lupus.

Help. Advice desperately needed.
I agreed and was taken off
Myfortic
(immunosuppressant). Since then after recovering from a chest infection my Gfr has reached 15/16 for the last 4 weeks. I have been infection free and feeling better than I have done all year! The nephrectomy (graft removal) is in 6 days and I feel so torn.

Mycophenolate/myfortic what's the difference ?
Hi , I have been reading a couple of posts regarding Mycophenolate intolerance , it is in my notes that I am Mycophenolate intolerant but then I was put on
myfortic
which is a large orange 360mg tablet, when you Google
myfortic
it comes up as Mycophenolate acid, I believe
myfortic
is a more gastro resistant

Anyone on myfortic (mycophenolate sodium)?
- especially about the transition to
myfortic
from cellcept, cause I understand they are so pharmacologically different that transitioning between them isn't necessarily straight forward....ie each version of myco has its own special issues....

Weight gain from changing medication, please help......
My partner was on
Myfortic
Acid for 3 years before changing to Azathioprine. Around the same time she also changed her beta blocker from Atenolol to Bisoprolol.
