Cryoablation tomorrow
I've been on Metoprolol,Sotalol and am currently taking
Multaq
and Xarelto. All meds worked for a period of time but AF always got worse eventually. Now I'm getting bouts every other week lasting 4 - 6 days before going back into NSR for about the same time.

question about post cryoablation use of multaq
Had successful cardiac cryablation 10/16/17 after two years paroxymal A-fib and several months on
Multaq
which helped but left me feeling weak with poor exertion recovery. Doc told me to keep taking
Multaq
for two more months until follow up visit. Is this common?

RF Ablation Under Sedation
Multaq
was prescribed which made me I'll and I had no energy. I had a follow up appt yesterday and my EP suggested RF ablation. I agreed and I was called back this morning. An opening was available for Monday so I took it. I am so ready for this.

From Metoprolol to Multaq...
The cardiologist took me off Metoprolol and put me on
Multaq
400mg twice a day. I have been taking
Multaq
for 4 days, still in afib. Should I wait awhile? Should I revert to taking Metoprolol but 100-150mg daily? No side effects from
Multaq
.

Phrenic nerve damage
A cardioversion was done and I seem to be back in rhythm and also given
Multaq
in addition to the Eliquis and Metoprolol. I had googled the shortness of breath after ablation and found the phrenic could be damaged.

Did moderate weight loss help anyone avoid afib ablation surgery?
My monitor results were bad enough that my doctor did not think I needed to try medication for very long---
multaq
did not work at all for me, so I am scheduled for cryo ablation in just over a month because my episodes of afib have gotten almost unbearable---I am even afraid to eat a large meal lately

Multaq effective for me
After a bad day of high rate all day long (140-150) and some low blood pressure, they added
Multaq
. Within half an hour, my rate went down to the 60-70 range (PM set at 60). Except for exercise, it has not been much higher for a whole week now.

Multaq medicine and cough
I have been on
Multaq
about 3 weeks and have developed an occasional cough. I'm quite certain it's the med. It's not productive, though occasional thick mucus. My concern is, can I expect the tickle to go away, or will it just get worse?

Post-op and a bit scared...
I'm now on a slew of meds, including
Multaq
and the anti-coagulant Xarelto. The Xarelto is what freaks me out. I just feel so fragile being on it, as if I can't even accidentally bump myself on a wall for fear of bleeding.
