foot flop
I take sinamet comtan and amantadine. Recently my foot flop has gotten worse. I can’t tell if I should take my medicine sooner than usual.

Finally, off DA but perhaps not for much longer
I am 64 years old and after 22 years of taking the DA Mirapexin, I took my last quarter tablet on July 7th. However, after three weeks of sleepless nights, I may have to start taking them again, which is a depressing prospect. All my bloods (e.g. iron panel, B12, etc) are fine. I started taking pregabalin

Antibiotics and Increasing B12
Hi. I just got over a long bout with covid and am now on antibiotics (ceftin) for an ear infection (caused by covid). I've noticed since I began ceftin (8 days ago) that I'm experiencing fingers and toes tingling. Do you know if antibiotics can cause b12 depletion? I take daily 3000 mgs sublingually

Worried about withdrawing from DHC Continus
Due to a spinal injury some 20+ yrs ago, I was put on Dihydrocodeine Continus, 60mg tabs 3 times a day. GP has just been reissuing the prescription for the last 20 odd yrs without really discussing these meds with me, or about changing for another drug. Now after 20yrs they just suddenly stop the prescription

He Is Listening
I responded to Jeaner73, that, Yes my big battle is with that Simipex, last night 11-09-2023 we received a phone call from my current Neurologist, I'll be posting what that three quarters of an hour phone call has lead to. Sunday evenings sleep 10th September ’23 amounted to around 3 hours off and on

Why Won't My Neurologist Listen (Explanation)
While my #1 Neurologist diagnosed me with something I never wanted, my #1 Neurologist was one I was very lucky to have known. I only had two one hour visits with him, he was so passionate and willing to help. He told the wife and I, anytime you need my advice or help phone me any time, email me any

What's in ER C/L vs. IR C/L?
We have tried using 25/100 ER in combo with 25/100 IR in an effort to increase time between doses and it consistently leads to negative symptoms that don't occur when I'm just taking the IR. Symtoms are mild headache, mild nausea, fatigue, my brain feels swollen and anxiety. It reminds me when I was

Husband so sick but not sure what’s going on
Hi this is my first time posting but I’ve been reading for a long time and I’m hoping someone here can shed light on what’s happening to my husband. He was diagnosed in 2013 with early onset (age 57) idiopathic Parkinson’s (rigidity and no tremors) and put on Sinemet and had two months of feeling better

B1 and the possibility of reducing medication…?
I had a strong positive initial response to B1 which pretty quickly turned “jittery”. After stopping and starting again a couple of times, I now take 125 mg -ish ( chop my 500 mg Solgar tabs into 4). So 125 mg once a day. I have been feeling much better but now I’m feeling over-medicated on my Madopar

Lung reduction.
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I got diagnosed with COPD by my GP last October after a chest x-ray. GP referred me to the lung medicine clinic, luckily got an appointment in January. My fev1 was 19% which explained why I was struggling. I didn't get to see my consultant at the appointment unfortunately. Prescribed

Uniphyllin Continus 400mg
Hi everyone. Is any one else having trouble getting Uniphyllin Continus 400mg? I'm meant to take one, twice a day, but my chemist says that there are none available. I'm having to take two 200mg twice a day now, which obviously, is more expensive to the NHS. It's not really a big problem but, are they

They seek it here, they seek it there, but Uniphyllin is nowhere!
I’ve just totted up the time I’ve spent this week trying to get my usual Uniphyllin Continus 300 and it’s come to more than 20 hours of ringing pharmacies and doctors and repeatedly explaining, as clearly as possible, that all I wanted was to get the Uniphyllin. I had put in a prescription request before

What are your thoughts on Pain Control
By December my PSA had dropped to about 0.05 and pain meds are up to 30mg
MS
Contin
and 200mg Pregabalin per day. Unfortunately when I went on Holiday, and ran out of
MS
Contin
and could not get it anywhere, so I switched to 50Mcg Fentanyl patches instead.

Phyllocontin Withdrawal. / Uniphyllin Continus
Good afternoon all. This is my first post so apologies if it is inappropriately placed. Does anyone know ? Why Phyllocontin was withdrawn ? I have only heard 'no longer commercially available' but would like to know more. Whether there is any research available on the impact of the withdrawal of Phyllocontin
